"This is a beautiful 19th century castle converted into a charming luxury hotel. The lobby & restaurants are piece of history. Rooms are renovated, bathrooms are very stylish. The staff are very polite and hard working.
The breakfast buffet is delicious and dinner is fine dining a-la-carte menu with fantastic choices. The spa is very nice and the swimming pool is great. Free hotel shuttle to the ski area.
Hotel offered me free room upgrade = thank you for the surprise and generosity !!
I will definitely come back again !! "
"We (family of 4) stayed here for 5 days over the New Year and we can't say enough about the genuine, inviting, and fun nature of the staff. The food is excellent and the staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. The entire hotel is well appointed with fresh rooms, amazing mountain views and shuttles to the area ski lifts. We would definitely return. "
"We had an absolutely delightful Christmas stay at Hotel Rosatsch. This was our very first time visiting the area, and it was a bit of a spur-of-the-moment booking while travelling in Italy from London — we decided to chase a white Christmas, and wow… did we get lucky! ✨❄️
The hotel is perfectly located right in the heart of Pontresina, making it incredibly easy to get anywhere. The premises are beautiful, tastefully decorated in a classic cosy Swiss style, and kept spotlessly clean. There’s so much to enjoy for the whole family, from the wellness area and pool to the kids’ playroom. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and a lovely place to relax after a day out.
But the true highlight of our stay was the staff. Everyone — from reception to the wellness centre team — was genuinely kind, welcoming, and attentive to every little detail. Their warmth and care made our stay feel extra special and truly memorable.
A huge thank you to the entire team at Hotel Rosatsch. We couldn’t have asked for a better first visit, and we’ll definitely be coming back!"
"I really enjoyed my stay in the apartment adjacent to the inn. I had a fabulous time but wished the restaurant was open for dinner although the front desk helped order me a pizza that was delivered. I will definitely return as it’s a lovely place to stay and spa. "
"The check in agent was kind and pleasant and my registration processes fast and smooth. The hotel is centrally located to the bus station which was super convenient for me. The hotel has few amenities other than dining, and the rooms are rather basic and small however that is all that I required for my short stay, and the price point matched my needs.
Breakfast is included and the variety was very good, particularly the fresh pressed juices. However, the breakfast attendant was extremely rude. I was not greeted at the entrance and after waiting I decided to seat myself. I was later told off and given unacceptable attitude as I inadvertently sat at the wrong table. Evidently there is assigned seating for each room number. I did not notice the sign at the entrance as the message in English was is much smaller print than the other languages. It was not necessary for the attendant to be so openly upset and rude to me for my mistake. I appreciate the need for order however I sat at the table late in the morning when the breakfast room was essentially empty. I really hope the hotel management provides training on customer service emphasizing various situations including what I described. I expect to be treated with respect, welcome, and curtesy, but experienced very much the opposite - as such I do not recommend this hotel. "
