We had a wonderful stay at this well-equipped property - inside and out. Beds were super comfortable. As described in the details, the property is set in what can best be described as a park, which contains tennis court, petanque arena and extensive grounds with many different lounging and dining locations and great sunset views. The pool is set adjacent to a separate property within the grounds, but is nevertheless private and only a short walk from the holiday residence. The pool area is very comfortable with cabana, bbq and shower/toilet facility. A lovely environment to relax in. As an added bonus, the owner's lovely and friendly chocolate brown labrador would occasionally visit us for cuddles. Altogether a fantastic holiday.

We cannot thank Jean-Francois, Regine and Clement for their hospitality, accompanied by such a warm welcome and fond farewell!We loved the serene and tranquil setting of this property, accompanied by its beautiful surroundings!Guests truly have this property Le Petit Bigourdan to yourself (despite the owners living in the pool house, they are sparse but there if needed and do not impact on the quality of your stay). Sushi the family dog (chocolate lab) became my best friend on this holiday…The property is rustic with original wooden beams etc (similar to a grade ii listed property) with modern touches to some of the bedrooms and bathrooms and sizeable.The annex was a true bonus, a large well designed space with plenty of natural light, containing the gym, pool table, seating and even a keyboard.The piece de resistance for us was the stunning outdoor heated pool and its setting, which were extremely welcome on scorching days!We actually used both the tennis court and pool daily, other facilities included outdoor badminton, table tennis, archery and pétanque. The views from the rear of the property were breathtaking, not to mention the surrounding undulating fields of sunflowers… spectacular!Jean-Francois and Regine thank you for making us feel so at home…we truly loved our stay!!We will definitely return to this rural heaven…Kind regards Susie, Dougie and George

An incredible stay, none of us wanted to leave! Absolutely charming and very helpful owners. The grounds are beautiful and gave everything you need and more and the sunset view is terrific. Cannot recommend enough and we will be back when we can for sure! Kids (4 and 7 years old) and us had a superb and relaxing stay.

Beautiful Peaceful Ambiance!

We went with a big family group there was a lot to do for everyone we had a lovely time. Amazingly the property is bordered by the sunflowers fields it was so incredible I don't have words to describe it...we were blown away!

Perfect Getaway

We spent a truly fantastic.. (and very hot..).. week here in july ‘22 The house and grounds are amazing with everything you could ever need right at your fingertips.. Clement, Regine and Jean-Francoise are the most friendly hosts you could ever wish to meet.. very welcoming with no request being too much trouble.. The Gers department of France is absolutely beautiful.. gorgeous scenery coupled with excellent food & wine. Already looking forward to next year so we can return and visit again… hopefully for longer next time…

Un coin de paradis

Magnifique propriété spacieuse et calme. De nombreuses activités sont proposées sur place. Les propriétaires sont aux petits soins. Et malgré quelques péripéties indépendantes de leur volonté ils ont été prévenant et avenants. Je recommande chaleureusement pour des vacances en famille ou entre amis

Merveilleux!

Endroit Idyllique où tout est fait pour que l’on s’y sente bien. Les nombreuses activités à disposition, le calme, les attentions répétées sans oublier l’extrême gentillesse des propriétaires. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour ressourçant malgré la chaleur intense. La piscine, magnifique, a été très appréciée ainsi que l’immense jardin orné de très jolis souvenirs de voyages. Voiture indispensable. En bref un séjour inoubliable ! Je recommande vivement et j’espère avoir la chance d’y revenir un jour.

Notre "home from home"

Des vacances de nouveau tres reussi au domaine de Bigourdan ou nous sommes accueillis avec tant de chaleur , gentillesse et bienveillance chaque annee. Jean-Francois,Regine et Marie-Josee ne comptent pas les heures de travaille passe au maintain de cette grande propriete. Nous et nos invites sont toujours ravi de se prelasser a la superbe piscine ou de jouer au tennis ou aux nombreuses autres sports a notre disposition dans ce merveilleux location. Vivement l'ete 2020!

Incredible!

Je suis navré de ne pas avoir rédigé d'avis avant. Merci pour cette semaine prévue au dernier moment.. Et navré encore d'être arrivé si tard dans la nuit. Le séjour était incroyable, la piscine chauffée en avril.. Le tennis et le billard.. Le Barbecue au soleil.. Les matchs de foot sur grand écran.. Que de souvenirs. Et surtout, merci à Jean-François et Régine de leur gentillesse et leur disponibilité. Si j'ai une remarque: demandez des photos faites par un professionel, celles d'abritel ne rendent pas toute la beauté de ce domaine exceptionnel . Cheers. Didi

Urlaub mit Herzlichkeit, Charme, Kultur und Ruhe

Ein Urlaub in absoluter Ruhe, ohne Hektik aber dennoch vielen Möglichkeiten. Das Haus ist sehr ruhig auf einem mehr als großzügigen Grundstück gelegen. Das Vermieterehepaar wohnt mit auf dem Grundstück, ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und steht mit Rat und Tag zur Seite. Die Sportmöglichkeiten auf dem Grundstück werden nur vom Mieter genützt. Alle Sportgeräte sind komplett ausgestattet, so dass man sein Sportgepäck getrost auf ein Minimum reduzieren kann. Im Garten gibt es einen Tennisplatz (inkl. Ballmaschine), Badmintonnetz, kleines Golfgrün samt Schläger, Bouleplatz und eine Tischtennisplatte. Alles sehr gepflegt. Zusätzlich kann man in einem zweiten Gebäude Poolbillard spielen, es gibt eine Karaokeanlage und ein sehr gut ausgestattetes Fitnesstudio. Der Pool ist sehr gepflegt und zwischen 28-30°C warm (beheizt). Zusätzlich findet man Wasserspielzeug, Luftmatratzen und allerlei Poolzubehör vor. Die Poolanlage selbst ist überaus großzügig und luxuriös. Es gibt mehrere Grillmöglichkeiten auf dem Grundstück, zudem zahlreiche Sitzmöglichkeiten. Der Blick auf die umliegenden Sonnenblumenfelder, Weinberge und Orte ist großartig. Der nächste Supermarkt ist ca. 4km entfernt, größere Erledigungen kann man auch hervorragend in Condom machen. Alles in allem läuft das Leben dort sehr ruhig und gelassen ab. Sehenswürdigkeiten gibt es zahlreiche, wir empfehlen die ca. 6km entfernte Abbay de Flaran, das ca. 12km entfernte Larressingle, zudem die galo-röm. Villa in Seviac, das kleine charmante Dorf Fources oder Condom selbst. Alles in näherer Umgebung ohne große Fahrzeiten. Die Gastgeber geben gute Tipps was Gastronomie oder Einkaufsmöglichkeiten für örtliche Spezialitäten angeht. Alles in allem ein wunderbarer Urlaub mit sehr herzlichen Menschen. In unserer Familie (2 Erwachsene mit zwei Kindern (14/10 Jahren) und einem Hund waren alle restlos zufrieden.Wir werden bestimmt wieder kommen und träumen bis dahin von der Gascogne.

Vacances idéales

Tout est comme sur les photos, un petit paradis sur terre. L'ensemble des installations sont extrêmement bien entretenues. Les propriétaires sont très sympathiques et de bons conseils. Vraiment idéal pour des vacances entre amis.

Le paradis est dans le Gers

A l'issue de notre séjour idyllique passé au Bigourdan, je désire mieux faire connaître cet endroit à ceux qui ne le connaissent pas encore, car les photos découvertes sur le site ne peuvent pas être à la hauteur de la réalité. En descendant une petite butte de gazon tendre vous tomberez sur un saule pleureur majestueux, ou une terrasse avec une bâtisse ouverte en chêne massif. Nous y avons déjeuné , entourés tantôt d'un palmier, tantôt d'un petit espace de fleurs et d'arbres exotiques. Au fond de la propriété on accède au green par un petit pont de bois, lui-même surplombant un bassin tapissé de galets et alimenté par une cascade silencieuse! Les enfants comme nous-mêmes avons eu un coup de cœur particulier pour l'espace piscine. Tout d'abord, la piscine est très spacieuse, l'eau y est cristalline, légèrement salée, et d'une propreté irréprochable. Qu'il est agréable de se baigner dans une eau douce pour la peau et les yeux. Son entrée à la romaine en fait un plan d'eau aussi agréable qu'esthétique. Ensuite, l'espace de repos qui l'entoure est particulièrement soigné, avec un petit côté zen des plus enchanteurs. La végétation luxuriante, les transats "bain de soleil" nombreux et l'immense salon sous kiosque sont une véritable invitation à la détente. Le parc est magnifiquement paysagé, décoré de sculptures de pierre, de bois, ou de marbre, ainsi que d'immenses amphores anciennes. Inutile de préciser combien nous avons profité de la salle de fitness, du karaoké, du tennis et du billard! Enfin et surtout, la maison dans laquelle nous avons vécu nous a comblés par son confort et sa décoration raffinée. Nous nous sommes sentis comme chez nous, à ceci prés qu'ici le réveil est doux, bercé par le chant des oiseaux. Merci encore à Régine, Jean-François et Clément pour leur accueil chaleureux et leur disponibilité de tous les instants, dans la plus grande des discrétions.
