Superbe séjour en Bourgogne!

Ce fût une magnifique expérience. Nos hôtes furent très acceuillants et souriants. Ils nous ont parfaitement informés sur le gîte et sur ce qu'il y a à voir et à faire dans les environs. Une abondante documentation est disponible directement dans le gite, et notamment une description des promenades dans les environs directs du gîte. Très beau gite, spacieux et chaleureux. Du bois (bien sec, de qualité) pour la cheminée est disponible sur place. La location est entièrement close et notre (gros) chien a pu profiter du magnifique jardin et faire la connaissance des ânes à l'arrière du gîte, c'est top. Bon à savoir: un deuxième frigidaire avec une partie congélation était disponible dans la buanderie, ce qui nous a bien aidé. Je recommande absolument, les yeux fermés. Merci pour tout, j'espère que nous aurons l'occasion de nous revoir!

Modern Country Classic Holiday Dream Home

Our 2-week stay in this home was truly fabulous in every way. The home is large, spacious, and gorgeously appointed. It is a visually pleasing blend of historic wood and stone; the funiture is harmonious and comfortable; and there is every modern convenience. There is cozy loft sitting space on the second floor that gives the house special beauty and charm, and the outdoor back porch/eating area is breathtaking. The owners keep two pet donkeys in a large pasture behind the house. The gentle, friendly donkeys add an extra layer of fun, and a day does not feel complete wiithout giving them a treat of lettuce, carrots, or apples. Our hosts Catherine and Michel are kind, interesting, helpful, and very solicitous hosts. They will take good care of you to help you have the best possible experrience! My husband and I have stayed in many VRBO properties, and this home, together with Catherine and Michel, will always hold a special place in our hearts.

Das Haus ist sehr geeignet für Gruppen bis 8 Personen. 3 Badezimmer und eine seperate Toilette. Schöne schattige Terrasse mit 2 freundlichen Eseln auf der an das Grundstück angrenzenden eingezäunten Wiese. Viel Platz, gemüticher Salon mit offenem Kamin.

Met 8 fietsvrienden in de Bourgogne

We hebben het zeer naar onze zin gehad. De verhuurders waren aardig en op alle vlakken behulpzaam. Het enige minpuntje was de kwaliteit van de wifi, maar ook daar viel wel mee te leven. En ... er lopen op het terrein twee lieve ezels rond, die graag contact maken met de gasten.

Mooi ingericht en ruim huis op een rustige locatie

Het huis is ruim, goed ingericht en goed onderhouden. De ideale plek om in luxe tot rust te komen. Het ligt in een zeer rustige omgeving met uitzicht op de natuur. Gastvrouw Catherine is zeer gastvrij en vriendelijk. Zij helpt graag bij eventuele vragen over de omgeving. Onze groep heeft genoten van de rust in luxe.

Wunderschönes Haus in toller Umgebung

Wir haben 2 Wochen in dem sehr gut ausgestatteten, sehr gepflegten und sehr ruhigen Haus verbracht. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Haus ist sehr schön gelegen, man kann vom Haus aus direkt Wanderungen in die malerische Umgebung unternehmen. Der Garten ist sehr gepflegt. Von der überdachten Terrasse kann man die schöne Aussicht genießen. Wir hatten sehr viel Freude an den beiden Eseln. Ein hervorragendes Restaurant ist fußläufig erreichbar. Ein rundum gelungener Urlaub, wir kommen gerne wieder!

Belle maison, bon emplacement

Très belle maison, propre, bien agencée, et à la belle décoration rustique, dont une grande cheminée dont nous avons bien profité pendant ce séjour hivernal. Propriétaire très aimables, serviables et toujours prêts à dépanner ou renseigner. La région est très agréable, avec de beaux paysages vallonnées. Plusieurs balades sont possibles directement depuis la maison, et le village historique de Vezelay n'est qu'à une quinzaine de minutes en voiture. Les enfants étaient très heureux de pouvoir aller voir chaque jour les deux ânes dans leur enclos. Le seul point à redire serait le fait qu'il n'y ait qu'un seul WC pour les 4 chambres du haut (le 2ème WC de la maison étant dans la chambre du bas).

Heerlijk verblijf in de Morvan

Genoten van een heerlijk weekje in een prettig huis! Zeer vriendelijk ontvangst. Behulpzaam en het huis is goed voorzien van wat je nodig hebt. Mooi terras met uitzicht op de ezeltjes. Mooi gebied om te wandelen en de omliggende plaatsen te bezoeken. Kortom, een topper!!!

quirky property in pretty rural location

Quirky property - well positioned for sightseeing in pretty rural location. Easy access to Avallon for shopping and the A6. Generally well equipped but no top sheets were provided to replace duvets during the heat wave we experienced. Also very surprised to find that there were no cushions for the plastic patio chairs. Unfortunately the owner was on holiday during our stay and the caretaker didn't speak English otherwise some of these problems might have been resolved. Access to the patio is only through the bathroom (!) on the first floor or up steps from the utility area of the kitchen - no handrail - very tricky when carrying food - then up more steps to the actual patio. Our bedroom had a shutter and fly screen but our friends' bedroom had neither so they had to sleep with the windows closed to keep the mosquitoes out. Two bedrooms had washbasins. The second shower room could only be accessed through the single bedroom on the ground floor. Plenty of information/maps on places to visit. Large orchard style garden and the resident donkeys enjoyed attention. Overall we enjoyed our stay as the house is well placed for sightseeing.

Séjour très agréable

Séjour très agréable dans une belle maison de caractère, parfaitement rénovée et fonctionnelle. Nous remercions Catherine et Michel qui nous ont formidablement accueillis : bouteilles de crémant et de jus d'orange au frais, maison fleurie, conseils sur les visites et rencontres et explications sur les ânes qui ont enchanté les enfants ! L'environnement est rural et particulièrement paisible, il y a de nombreuses visites à faire à proximité. Nous recommandons le séjour sans réserve et reviendrons avec plaisir.
