House Halfway to Veere

"Huisje Halfwege" is a charming house on the border between Middelburg and Veere.
From the veranda you have a magnificent panoramic view over the countryside of Veere and you may see the boats passing by in the distance through the channel of Walcheren.

The cottage has a kitchenette with cooking facilities, a sitting area with television, games, reading books and a shower with a nice rain shower.
In the bedroom there is a large double bed (1.80m X 2.00m), but if you prefer 2 single beds then you can indicate this when booking and we will take that into account.

When the days are a bit colder, the entire house can be heated. Bed and kitchen linen are provided, you must bring your own bath linen.

On the outside of the cottage there is also the possibility to charge electric bicycles and you can park the car directly next to the cottage.


Walcheren is versatile!
You can choose to go to the beach, because of the central location of the house it does not matter much in terms of kilometers whether you go to the beach in Vrouwenpolder, Oostkapelle or Vlissingen.
Huis Halfwege has not been given this name for nothing, it is just as far from this house to the market in beautiful and versatile Middelburg as to the market of the historic town of Veere.

From Huisje Halfwege you can also make beautiful walking and / or cycling trips. There are several junction routes on Walcheren and even a route that runs past the house.
You can choose to take the bicycles from home, but you can also rent bicycles within a 30-minute walk or 5 minutes by car.
