"Great family place, relaxing, fairly quiet in early May. Nice pools, hot springs very hot to hot to warm as they cascade down terrace. Sauna was hot as well, great shower booths around pool. Breakfast buffet included was awesome and reasonable priced dinners delicious with incredible view of volcano ..."

"This stay was great but short. Everything from the bedding to the lobby to the restaurant was perfect. Only thing that they need to improve is fixing the Jets in the Jacuzzi because the pumps evidently are not working. And if they can make the sauna or steam area hotter would be great .other than ..."

Nice cabin, not in La Fortuna itself...
"The cabin was in a pretty location on the side of a small lake — but the location doesn't match that on VRBO which states it's in La Fortuna town. It's actually several miles out of town, which was a problem for us since we didn't have a rental car and there's no public transport serving the area. ..."

"Mike's place is stunning. The views are incredible, the birds provide endless interest, and the quiet is very peaceful.
