In the centre of Venezia, in the district Castello, in a sunny position, excellent location: right in the centre but still quiet, in the heart of the city, east facing position. Heating available only from 15.Oct. - 15.Apr.. Stepped path (30 steps) to the house. Supermarket 150 m, shopping centre 500 m, restaurant, café 100 m, bus stop "Piazzale Roma" 2.2 km, railway station "Venezia Santa Lucia" 2 km, ferry "Vaporetto stop Rialto" 500 m. Nearby attractions: Chiesa di Santa Maria Formosa 80 m, Chiesa di Santa Maria dei Miracoli 350 m, Basilica dei Santi Giovanni e Paolo 400 m, Ponte di Rialto 450 m, Piazza San Marco 450 m. Great Location but beware of Scam

Great place, awesome location and perfect for our visit. Unfortunately, buyer beware...Their check in instructions demands that you give their agent a $200 Euros Deposit in CASH upon check in, which should be returned at the time of check out. Unfortunately, their agent wasn't able to meet with us at the time of check out, so I have spent the past several weeks trying to get my deposit returned. Honestly, the apartment was perfect but if you decide to take the risk and stay, do not return the key until you receive your deposit back...

Great location, could use some window screens

This is a wonderful location close to the heart of Venice but just outside the hustle and bustle. The only problem we ran into was mosquitos - no A/C and no window screens made for some nasty bites.

Great size and location

We loved this mostly quiet location and it was a big place for our family of five. The host was very flexible with our (late) check in time. We liked having a microwave to reheat food for the kids in the morning and a freezer and make ice for our water bottles. I think the place could use another fan, as the lack of a/c during a heat wave made it quite hot at night. Overall it worked out well for us.
