The hotel is updating and renovating which is great, but you do see and hear the construction. We had a room that was dated as the pet friendly rooms have not been renovated yet. Unfortunately it also had ants.....I think it's an issue at this time of the year. Unfortunately because of the long weekend they were not able to get anyone onsite quickly. They did move us to another room and made it all good so it was just a minor inconvenience. The pool and hot tub....we didn't use. The hot tub looked a bit grimy as did the pool. The first thing we noticed was the lack of chlorine smell.....We took a pass. Gym was quiet and had weights and a mat and some machines. I was able to get a work out in. Staff was friendly and doing their absolute best! Breakfast was good and every day offered a different hot selection of eggs, bacon, hashbrowns. It had a 1 minute pancake maker which was a hit! Warm cinnamon buns, toast, oatmeal, yogurt, fruit, cereals. There was something for everyone I feel. I love being able to go away with our furry family and this hotel is conveniently situated along the highway, next to grass and a path that we walked the dogs along so they could do their business. It's location is walkable to restaurants and fast food, a superstore (grocery), coffee (Blenz, Starbucks, McDonalds), a mall, Dollar store, bakery and even a pet store! But it's close to the lake and Mountain and lots of hikes which we enjoyed!

The construction taking up and limiting parking also both hotels sharing parking?!?! Also, showering in cold water was not part of my plan because i usually enjoy a hot soak after a nice warm shower since that wasnt possible i wasnt happy with the hotel and i know another guest who also stated that they didnt have hot water?!? This location had everything we were needing. The breakfast was great and had a good healthy variety. The pool and hot tub were clean and well maintained. Plus a gym. I used the laundry as well and it was clean and inexpensive which was a nice surprise. Will book again next time in Vernon.

The hotel is undergoing renovations. This should be on the website instead of people finding out when they arrive. Hallways, elevator, lobby were dirty. The exterior had old fixtures (bathtubs, toilets ,etc) piled up out front. The hotel was filled with teams of young people who were extremely loud and running down the hallways. The staff should have clearly laid out the expectations of not disturbing other people staying there and enforcing it. Not happy!

Not a quiet place to stay as walls are very thin. Hotel was doing renovations (was not advised when booked) so there was lots of debris in the hallways and workers all over. Workers triggered the fire alarm and the staff did not know how to turn it off. Had to wait for 20 minutes for the fire department to come and turn it off. Rooms have been updated and were clean.

The breakfast was good and the breakfast attendant wows very good. I stayed for 2 weeks and asked for no cleaning of the room, since they said I would accumulate extra points if I did not want my room changed daily. However, since it was booked through Expedia, I do not get those points unless I make a special point of calling Expedia. Same for the renos they are doing. The pool could use a good cleaning around the edges

Terrible stay in every sense. The pool was dirty. The ice machines all don’t work or hardly work and had towels for water leaks around the bottom. The workout equipment is corroded, the tv doesn’t work in the gym and the ‘under construction’ sign that has been up for months just gives them an excuse for it to be a mess everywhere (including a dumping site in the meeting room) full of scraps, mess and filth. Over all the hotel is aged, decrepit and falling apart. Very disappointing for me and my kids.
