Very disappointed
My stay at this property was terrible to say the least. I am a single mother, and I saved up to take my children on a nice vacation. The property looked beautiful online. When I arrived, everything seemed fine. I cooked dinner that night, and there were a few cockroaches on the counters. To be honest, I wanted to leave, but I didn’t have very many options, saying that I spent all my money on this property. Me and my children kept all of the lights on all night to dissuade the cockroaches from coming out. The next day everything seemed OK until I started cooking again at night, and now a baby cockroach came out. Not only was there one in the kitchen, but now we find one in the bathroom. I called to complain and got the owners number. I left a message with no response the first day. The next day and what would be our last night there she finally called back. She was very irate. I was just sharing with her that there was a bug problem and my girls were uncomfortable being there. She said she would give us our money back as we were not going to stay any longer and she was aware and acknowledged there is a bug
Issue as she tried to take care of this in the past. I ended up getting a room after borrowing money from a friend after speaking to the owner, and being told, I would be getting a refund. Here we are a month later and no resolution. I’m very disappointed. I cannot get a phone call back or even a text. needless to say, I’m just truly upset.
