“We loved staying in this beautiful house! The layout is perfect for entertaining. We had a great time eating, playing pool, playing cards, and just celebrating our son's graduation from JMU. We also had fun participating in the activities at the resort...go-karts, bumper cars, the zip-line, mini golf, fishing at the lakes, and the scenic chair lift! There was something for everyone!”

“We have been coming to Massanutten for several years with the family. This home was one of our favorites. The home is roomy.(there were 12 of us)...with the two kitchen tables upstairs for everyone to sit at. The location to the ski resort is perfect. The kids enjoyed the game room. We only stayed for a long weekend but I can see that this house would be great for a week vacation with the two kitchens.”

“We absolutely loved our stay. But yes we did have 3 older people in their 70s and the stairs were many but we were able to rearrange baths and other activities based on floor level.”

“We had a wonderful time with family and friends at this property. This home was spotless and was equipped with all necessities. The kids had plenty of activities to keep them occupied (arcade games, fuseball table, basketball, ect..). Everyone also enjoyed the hotub. We also spent some time at the waterpark which was a short distance from this property. Overall, a great weekend getaway and we highly recommend this property and apprectiate the opportunity to spend time in this home :)”

“Bill and Cynthia are such amazing hosts and the property inside and out exemplifies it. What a great place to stay for some serious rural R&R! The property was very clean. They have thought of everything one would need for a delightful get away. If you forgot anything, just ask and they are sure to help one way or another. The Fresh eggs, courtesy of their chickens, were a treat and the farm animals are such fun…esp Posy, Zoey and Hemingway. We hope to return soon for a longer retreat! Thank you……

The lodge was beautifully appointed, with board games, a well-equipped kitchen, TVs and video games, and a hot tub. There were many minor-but-thoughtful touches throughout, too. Overall it was the perfect location for a restful retreat and reconnecting friends.”

“Very nice House !! We had 2 hiccups while staying here but we ended up enjoying the house. 1st hiccup was the refrigerator because it was not getting cold and we had just brought groceries ‼️ so he told us to pull it out and we did but could not put it back, my friend had to keep climbing over the counter to get to her room, which was annoying. We asked host to send someone like maintenance but he said there wasn’t one and this isn’t a hotel. After 4 hrs stuff still wasn’t cold or frozen so he……

“This little housse is like a very good cabin. 2 private bedrooms with one shared bath. Very tastefully decorated. It had everything we needed for a good stay. New appliances and heating system, back deck has wonderful private view of the woods. Very quiet and restful, yet right in the middle of Staunton. All amenities were minutes from the house. Very clean and had a very interesting history to the house. Yet great modern renovation. Would definitely visit again. The host even left wine for us……

“My family and the grandparents all had a nice stay at this location. Nice location just outside of Harrisonburg, away from the crowds of students/parents on a very busy weekend, Stay was comfortable and we had plenty of room. Used the big kitchen table to play cards and enjoyed the hot tub on our last night. Thanks!”

“The property itself met my expectations and was pleasant to stay at, however, upon check-in i was told that there would be an extra cleaning fee (expedia wont let me include the price but it was a good amount). I was a little surprised and wished they had made that more clear before i booked the property, but at that point i had to pay the fee. Following that, we were given a checklist of our duties upon checkout that included stripping the beds, washing all dishes, taking out the trash,……
