「Spotless room lovely lady at front desk , great parking, location superb . Nice brekkie . Just a shame people decided to smoke on the balcony first thing in the morning in the next room ruining the gorgeous fresh air . Not the hotel’s fault ….views were amazing from the room. Would Stay again …..lovely bar also with a view 」

「The staff was super friendly and helpful. The restaurant was good. There's a place to dry your boots and skis, which is nice. The nearest ski hill isn't always open and anyway it's only for experienced skiers, as it's "hors piste." That said, it's only 40 min from Serre Chevalier. The little town is cute. The bed was decent but not amazing. Would probably go back!」

「Rappel : La Marmotte de la Meije est un gîte dont la clientèle est presque totalement faite d’adeptes de la rando pédestre ou cycliste. Octogénaire peu habitué à l’environnement spartiate des refuges j’étais une erreur de casting parmi les autres clients. Et pourtant je garderai un excellent souvenir de ce séjour et le mérite en revient au couple de propriétaires dont l’accueil extrêmement sympathique et prévenant met tout le monde à l’aise et qui ne ménage pas ses efforts pour satisfaire les...

「The waitress was not very attentive. She did our order wrong and never Came back to check how we were. The gentleman at check in and assisting in bar and restaurant was wonderful and very accommodating 」

「What a fabulous last minute find in the French alps Welcoming family run staff , peaceful village with alpine views , bar with decking and the most scrumptious of dinners Made my little drive round the alps even better ! 」

「The views from the hotel were excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The proximity to the pistes in Les Bergers were excellent. The only couple of negatives were the room cleaning (timing of cleaning and inconsistent of refreshment replenishment) and the 20 Euro charge of 1 hour spa usage for hotel guests.」
