Was very near to central station which made it easy to get to Vienna airport. Didnt like the check in process. Couldnt find a booking reference, one member of staff didnt want to help. Second member of staff found my booking reference then sent me back to the self check.in which was long winded when it was late with two tired kids.

Great stay for your money

The a&o Wien Hauptbahnhof is conveniently located near the Vienna main train station, making travel to other parts of Europe a breeze. Unfortunately, if you're interested in seeing other parts of the city, there's a lot of walking involved or taking the tram to get to your destination.

It’s a hostel, but we got our room to ourselves. Very busy place. Close to the main train station and all other transportation. Clean, spacious, very good breakfast choices. We loved it!

It is not a hotel it’s a hostel. If you are travelling with family please don’t stay at this property. Staff is like robots. No fans and air circulation in the room. It’s like a jail room. Furniture is so tightly placed there is no circulation space at all. Only one plus point is that it is near to the Wein central train station that’s it. Thank you.

Worst hostel experience I’ve had. People everywhere it was chaos, kids racing around like a crèche, my bed was filthy dusty, usbs were broke so I had zero power, they hand you your bed sheets to make your own bed from scratch. Just extremely bad.

It says hotel on the site but it is CLEARLY a hostel. Don’t let them fool you with “half of it is a hotel”. No it’s not, it’s a hostel and it looks shady as hell.

Nice and good value for the money

Nice place, walking distance to Vienna Central Station. It was a bit noisy at night. Had to carry luggage down via a staircase. It was warmer and no fan or AC. If you open the windows, street noise was bothering. Otherwise a decent stay.

It’s a great hostel not really a hotel.We had a pivate room with ensuite. Room was clean. Bathroom clean, all basic. You are given sheets & have to make your own bed. The corridors smell terrible. The front desk staff were all amazing! Fine if you’re under 22 & backpacking.

I stayed there for two night. First, i got a handicap room which was in bad condition with unclean bedding and different size mattresses. Later, i got another room which has smelling bathroom. The staff was really cooperative. They arrange the cleaning of bathroom but still it was stinky and unclean. Bathroom of the property needs maintenance or deep cleaning.

Very poor experience here, room is not well maintained. The cable port on the bedside doesn’t work, quite an awful experience. The bathrooms are so untidy, literally even places in remote areas could turn out to be better. The water doesn’t drain, nor the walls are cleaned with black moss on the roof as there is not ventilation or exhaust. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to stay here, I did spend a couple of nights without any proper sleep. I not only wasted my money here, but couldn’t not even make most of my trip here. Not to mention the images not necessarily say that the accommodation looks like this from the inside. Forget about this place being OK to stay, this place is far from liveable.

Staff was not very helpful. I gave something to the safe at the reception and when I went to collect it they did not find it. Instead of looking properly they started asking me how took the things, what time etc. I had to wait and finally when I urged them to look properly they found it. Paid extra for late check out, they had not registered it on their computer and I could not get to my room. I had to explain it to them and only then I was able to go to my room.

Its a sauna, plz dont stay here in the hot months. The rooms get heated and there is no airflow. Becomes very hard to fall asleep, the windows dont open only tilt and there is nothing you can do about it. The guest kitchen was not functional and there was a lot of noise from the neighbouring hostel throughout the night.
