This unit is not commodious and as advertised
We booked this unit for four days in August. There should have been red flags from the beginning when the owner did not accept payment through VRBO and sent a link through WhatsApp to pay through camelotels/Kross travel agency.
Check in instructions were easy but upon checking in, the smoke detector was chirping nonstop due to a dead battery. We messaged the property manager and it was not resolved the next day. We couldn’t find a battery at a nearby grocery store.
The unit is not well appointed. It lacked basic things like a kitchen hand towel. The floors were filthy. We saw several gross bugs on the floor.. I realize most units don’t have a/c but the whole building smelled of cigarette smoke.
We elected to leave after only one night. It was over 90F and in addition to the dirty floors, it was so uncomfortable for sleeping for one of my mother in law and oid 1 year old son, we were worried of heat exhaustion. You can find a better deal in Vienna than this unit. I realize we could have complained more to the property manager but there wasn’t anything they could do except for maybe actually clean the floors. This was a very disappointing stay.
