Welcome to A Glowing View!

Welcome to a Glowing View, a spacious and inviting mountain retreat nestled in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains. With beautiful kitchen finishes and rustic hardwood throughout, this home shines as soon as you walk through the door. Most bedrooms have personal bathroom suites, and the outdoor area features a wrap-around porch, perfect for watching the sunset.
*Firewood available for purchase after booking. Please contact Carolina Cabin Rentals if interested.

A Glowing View is close to downtown Boone and has access to skiing, shops, golf, and other local attractions. Enjoy mountain living in complete comfort and style. Please note: a maximum of 5 cars is allowed at this home at any time. The home is in a quiet noise restricted neighborhood. Cameras above the garage face the driveway, and a Ring camera is at the front door. Thank you!

Great House

A group of friends and their families rented A Glowing View for a ski trip and had a wonderful visit. The house was layed out perfectly for our group with every family having their own bedroom, closet and bathroom. The kids enjoyed hanging out downstairs playing pool and board games. The hot tub, wood fireplace and fire pit was a great touch! The home is also nicely located between Banner Elk and Boone so we could ski and explore multiple mountains during our stay. The only negative comment was that when we arrived late Friday evening the house did not have towels so we couldn’t bath before bed. We messaged the manager and our towels were promptly delivered the next morning. Thank you for a weekend filled with memories. We will be back!

Mountain Paradise

Our experience in this incredibly spacious home was wonderful. Three couples had plenty of privacy and great space inside and out. The wrap around porch provided fantastic views and shade all day.

Wonderful mountain escape

We were wanting a nice place in the cool mountains with a beautiful view where our family could gather to celebrate a milestone birthday and this place delivered big time! The house is beautiful and was very clean. It is very open and spacious with 4 king bedrooms each with its own bath. The kitchen was well stocked which was important as we were doing our own cooking & not going out during the pandemic. It was so quiet & peaceful. We could not have picked a better place.

New Year's Eve Vacay

It was really a perfect home for our large family, very clean and comfortable! Love the kitchen and fridge! Only drawbacks for us were that the dryer was broken so we could not do laundry and it was pretty noisy in the upstairs master suite during wind gusts. Also, we were missing linens for the pull out beds downstairs.
