Overall the unit was nice but there were a few broken things we noticed upon arrival.
There was a hole in screen door, the button on the faucet (kitchen) was missing/not functioning and the hood above the microwave was loose and "repaired" in non satisfactory manner, as it came loose on us while heating water. This of all the issues should be addressed, as someone can get burnt/hurt (see drywall screw as quick repair).
As mentioned before the cleaning was subpar, as there was sand in a few of the beds. This made us wonder as to if the sheets were ever changed.
Also, it seemed as if the pools were closed for longer than what would be expected, especially in the early evenings and well after rain events. We barely got a chance to use them.
Badges didn't work on certain doors, particularly ones closest to our car making lugging children and food more difficult. This was the case for Building A, most northern stairwell, closest to Baja.
When we reached out to Vacasa to ask what we could expect in or with our arrival In the unit, specifically beach type items(chairs, umbrellas, etc.), if any, we were told that there were none. We were surprised to find there was a whole locker filled with such items. Knowing this would have made our loads a bit lighter on our way from Pittsburgh.
Lastly, we did think the kitchen was adequately stocked with plates, bowls, etc. Running the dishwasher and leaving was a nice perk too.
All in all, the place was nice and handy to the beach and the few restaurants close/inside was a bonus.
With that, I am highly unlikely to use Vacasa for booking a trip and will not be returning to this condo unit in the future.
Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to provide this feedback.
