「fantastic place to stay for a family lake trip」

「The cabin is as described - although it is a dry cabin, it offered a lot of little amenities that make it a lot nicer. Yes, the bugs are bad - but you have to expect that in Northern MN. The outhouse was a little overwhelming depending on the time of day - not sure if it’s venting as it should, but that was the only thing that was a disappointment. We had a severe thunderstorm roll in over night, and we were certainly happy to be in a cabin. 」

「This place was everything we were looking for for a quiet get away. We enjoyed everything the hosts offered — pontoon, hot tub, kayaks, small rocky beach for kids to be kids and although we were initially shocked there was only one TV in the whole house, we welcomed it as it forced us to think about not being on electronic devices and to instead do campfires and family board games. We enjoyed every minute!」

「We had a last minute pivot from a BWCA trip due to an ankle injury. This was a great choice. The lake has a classic Northwoods feel and the cabin is rustic with enough comforts to make it easy. We used the lake extensively, fished, paddleboarded, canoed and had day trips to Bear Head State Park and Ely.」

「Property is just as described. We enjoyed the peaceful backyard. The cabin was very clean with a rustic feeling that we enjoyed. No cell service for Verizon made it a true getaway!!」

「Fishing nearby lakes was really good, food in nearby town was outstanding. And plenty of room for three adults. Very nice retreat. I'd do it again. 」
