“The staff was extremely rude. I had been driving for 8 hours straight, arrived a hour early before checkout time. Offered to pay the fee to check in early. The lady told me with an attitude that I was too early. It also took a very long time to get checked in. Hands down the rudest staff I have ever been around in any hotel ever. Lots of dudes hanging out around the building loitering and doing illegal things. I also got accused of being one of those loitering guys by the staff. Never ever come……

“Had a lady help me find my room which was nice. Our room was decent, no bugs or anything suspicious. Only problem was some dried pee stains on the floor of the toilet. For a last minute booking, this was good. Area felt safe too compared to others I’ve been too.”

“The room was not cleaned, there were stains and food debris on the sheets, clear signs of bedbugs being present, all metal surfaces were rusted over, the mattresses were damp and sticky, the "staff" was a video kiosk that connected to a call center. Even after not staying in the room at all, and alerting the "staff" of all the issues and that I wanted to cancel my stay (I wasn't in the room for more than 10 minutes before deciding to leave) they refused to refund my money unless they showed me……

“The ac was strong and worked well. I enjoyed the stay. Looks shabby on the outside but it’s a good hotel I’m pleased. Shower was a little tiny but nonetheless for the price sooo worth it.”

“Had the best stay at Decoy's!!!! Cottage #1 exceeded our expectations - THE VIEW!!! the adorable decor, the most comfortable bedding... I could not recommend this place more. The area is super safe and kid-friendly. The cottages do not have front desk staff available in person, but everyone we spoke to over the phone was incredibly helpful and accommodating. We made the most beautiful memories here in the cottages with our family - 5 stars all around. Thank you, Decoy's!”

“Room 240 could’ve been cleaner. I wipe down myself. The bathroom floor was not clean, the tub was not or could’ve been cleaner better. The pillows were flat. This location needs an upgrade! The staff were friendly.”

“Stayed here 1 night in early July 2026. I was concerned about reviews mentioning unclean rooms. Thankfully we did not have that experience. We stayed in a 2Q suite and the kitchen, beds, bathroom and living room were all clean. Breakfast was a good variety of food. We had scrambled eggs, waffles, muffins, and make your own breakfast tacos Know that the images of an indoor pool on their website are fakes, even though they are labeled as coming from guests. The pool is outside and small. In room……
