Stayed for 3 nights. In a perfect location walkable to tourist places, busstop and ferry. Hotel is clean, staff( reception & breakfast section) is very polite and nice.

Just as Visby is an ideal place for a relaxing weekend, the hotel is quiet, clean and very well located, just a 5-minute walk from the town centre and harbour (just be aware that the climb up to the hotel can be a good exercise for the legs). The staff were very welcoming and showed a great deal of attention to helping me check in late and make my stay a pleasant one. I also found the breakfast delicious and wide-ranging.

Lovely old house just outside the town walls with views down the hill towards the sea. A working option for those on a budget. Relatively quiet, since on the opposite end of the town from all the action. Slow service, especially in the breakfast room. Periodically staff at reception with no ability to use the customer register! Constant apologies of course, but nothing changed much during my 4 day stay. No chance for early arrival/late check out. Understandable perhaps (absolute peak tourist season) but would be good to include this policy in the pre-arrival info that was a bit outdated in both appearance and content in other respects as well.

Fair hotel but service needs improvement !!

The hotel is well located for the port and town, and it’s a solid Best Western, upper three stars in my view. Comfortable rooms of fair size, nice and modern. Obviously very clean rooms and all working like in Sweden. But there were several problems with the service. For checkin there was a long line and only one lady at the desk, who had trouble finding my booking (the self checkin machine didn’t work). Usually there was one person at the desk and sometimes nobody. The worst thing is that when we asked what time breakfast starts, the lady said 6:30 am. So as we had a ferry to catch, she oriented as to order a packed breakfast. coming downstairs just before 6 am, we were shocked that breakfast was already being served. This means that because of the incorrect information from that lady, we missed breakfast, and I should get compensation for that. On the other hand, when I told her that I had taken the souvenir sheep from the room to add to my bill, she did nothing and did not charge me…

The location was superb. We were able to walk everywhere in Visby and were very close to the ferry back to Nynashamn.

Location right next to Old Town and also very near to cruise terminal was perfect. Our room at 4th floor had nice round window and great seaview to watch the sunset. One recommendation to the hotel, you could invest air conditioning to cool the rooms, we had a little too warm for perfect sleep.

Vi bodde i rum 225 utanför huvudbyggnaden, och tyvärr var upplevelsen inte särskilt bra. Det fanns ingen belysning utanför huset på kvällarna, vilket kändes både obekvämt och otryggt. Rummet saknade AC och ventilationen var dålig. Det dök upp många insekter och det var fullt av spindelnät. Vi hade förväntat oss bättre standard. Bilder på bokningssidan motsvarar inte verkligheten.

Vistelsen var bra. Har varit gäst tidigare. Bra läge nära centrum, men lugnt. Sängar bra. Önskar papperskorgar med delning för papper, plast och diverse.
