"We had a room with a view of the sea which was nice. The room was small but typical of a European hotel room and we enjoyed the charm. The breakfast was adequate for our needs with a lot of different pastry options. Some fruit would have been nice. The cappuccinos were great! Overall we felt it was a great place to stay before our cruise. "

"We stayed at Hotel Traiano for one night prior to our cruise. Although it is approximately a 15-minute walk from the downtown area, we found it easy to reach on foot. The hotel also offers a convenient shuttle service to the cruise port for a nominal fee, which is especially helpful when traveling with luggage. The front desk staff were efficient, professional, and helpful throughout our stay. Overall, the hotel is located in a quiet residential area, providing a peaceful and comfortable stay."

Nice size and well appointed rooms with interesting local art and a quiet patio for a drink before heading to dinner but this place stands out for the absolutely amazing customer service. "Anne, the owner of the property was very helpful. She helped arrange our transportation from the airport to the hotel, which was flawless. The room was well maintained. You must read all the information about the property because there is NO elevator. The property is a historical property and the country will not allow one, so get your work out ready. There are places of restaurants in the area and the Port is close, but with bags, get a ride. Anne will help you for small fee. If I was heading back or recommend a place there it would be here."

"Big spacious clean room. Room was quiet despite being in the center of town. Central location between train station and cruise shuttle drop off/pickup site. Lots of restaurants nearby. Claudia was an extremely gracious and helpful host. She was flexible and arranged breakfast to accommodate our excursion schedules. We stayed four days between cruises and having previously visited Rome, explored the surrounding countryside."
