Shady Acres Farm

  • Welcome to The Farm at Shady Acres! Make yourself at home at this freshly remodeled long time family farm. Shady Acres is located 12 miles from Waco, only 20 minutes from downtown Waco and the Magnolia Silos and 15 minutes from historic West, Texas. Shady Acres offers a spacious 1100 square foot one bedroom home with two queen beds, one bath and a large open concept living/kitchen/dining area. The farm sits on a fenced in 4 acre section of a larger 40 acre farm complete with horses and cows. You can experience amazing sunsets and the tranquility of the country while being just a short distance from the city.

Enjoy all the amenities of "city living" with an extremely well-stocked kitchen with, oven, stove, microwave, refrigerator, Keurig and dishwasher. When not enjoying a meal at one of many local restaurants feel free to make yourself at home and cook up your favorite meal. Enjoy your meal either inside or at the outdoor dining area on the screened in porch. You can wrap up your evening by enjoying a cozy fire in the fire pit.

Adjacent to the kitchen is the laundry room with detergent provided.

The Farm at Shady Acres is perfect for all Baylor sporting events and activities, fans of Fixer Upper, workshops at Homestead Heritage, Westfest and any and all Waco events.

When not out enjoying all that Waco and Central Texas have to offer, settle in with HDTV with the Dish Network, play a board game, cards or dominoes. Or, just sit back and relax and enjoy all that country living has to offer.

Want a relaxing place to stay by Waco? This is clearly the place. The hosts clearly care and send clear instructions on how to access the property and what to expect. There is plenty of room to play on the property or just sit back and enjoy the view. It is always nice to have some of the basics at the home, but they really do go above and beyond. This is one of the best places I have stayed in a while and would love to stay again. I am trying to see if we could take another trip this summer and stay again.

Beautiful Farm Getaway

This was by far the best stay we have ever had! The property was just gorgeous. We loved seeing the animals mosey around and the quietness of farm living. The house had such a homey feel. We will absolutely stay here again if we have the chance. Thank you so much for having us!
