「Loved our stay in South Bay! The house was perfect for our family of 5. Nice and quiet, and a stunning view from upstairs. Great view of the bay from up the hill behind the house. Plenty of heating to keep us warm in a cold Kaikoura southerly, and there were even some hottie bottles to warm up our beds. Good kitchen with everything we needed, and very good washing machine and dryer. Only 5mins drive or a 30min walk to the town centre. 5 min walk to the south end of the Kaikoura peninsula...

「The cottage and the experiences; starlit bath, extremely well equipped kitchen, fascinating wine tasting, all exceeded my expectations, the big well fenced garden and well planned off lead walking around the vineyard was perfect for our dog. I can see why they have lots of repeat visitors.」

「The cosy cottage at Kaikoura is a great place to stay. The location is near many great walks, the sea and the boat excursions. It’s in a quiet location and there is no light pollution , so the stars at night are amazing. Seeing the sunrise and moonrise at the Kaikoura lookout is a must. The location is not far from town, seal colony , esplanade and town eateries. The location has everything you need for a comfortable stay. It’s clean and very comfortable. 「An old "dog friendly" cottage that has been modernized with double glazed windows, heat pump, new appliances (fridge, microwave, stove, tv ....). Very comfortable stay. It is opposite the boat launch and they launch boats from 4:00 am so take some earplugs. Good value for money.」
