The staff were friendly enough but the rooms themselves are in need of a serious revamp. It’s ok if you’re a construction worker that needs digs, but not for someone involved in business. Won’t be staying again unless a serious amount of money is invested to make the rooms cleaner and more modern.

Couldnt find it to start with as it is now called The Kiln. The cooked breakfast is not worth £10 with cold hash browns. The mattress is too small for the bed frame and there are only two sockets

You get what you pay for

More of a model than a hotel, and turns out its in the middle of a trading estate. Staff were firendly but the room was very dated and cleanlyness was questionable, with multiple stains on the bed and crums on the matress. Did not end up staying the night due to the cleanlyness and the dacor making it feel rather spooky. Cheapest for the area, but that was due to booking last minuite. Still paid £80 for a room, so book your trip early and book a premier in if you want consistent value

People up shouting and blasting music banging on doors until 5am resulted in no sleep and a poor stay, when calling the hotel phone number was ignored meaning the stay was shocking and never going to happen again. Took the pillowcases off to see yellow pillows and same with the mattress from stains, place was awful

Very helpful staff

Located on the outskirts of Wakefield but close to the center and 15 min to Leeds. Some very good food spots in the near vicinity. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Great value and comfortable

Pluses - free parking, clean room, decent shower, economical dine in menu, i found it quiet, comfortable bed and the lowest price in town on the night. Minuses - on an industrial estate, one of the two chairs in my room felt unsafe anfonly 3 coffee sachets (of which 2 were decaffeinated). Overall...it worked fine for me. I've stayed before and I'd be happy enough to stay again.
