Direct waterfront on Belleau Lake in Wakefield, NH, you will be close to Wolfeboro and Lake Winnipesaukee as well as many Maine attractions and the White Mountains. Storybook Pines is truly a multi-generational four season retreat. Built and decorated to bring to mind images of a storybook cottage, you will find enchanting details around every corner. Large open gathering places, a library filled with books, seven cozy bedrooms decorated with patchwork quilts and beautiful artwork.

Great Property. All you need is to bring your food!

The house is large and beautiful. Host was great and thought of everything. Lots of things to keep everyone busy…ping pong, pool, large movie screen, various board games. Outside was amazing! Right on the lake with a little sandy beach. Various types of boats provided, fire pit, hammock with a big deck, Kitchen had everything you could possibly needed including a huge selection of spices.

We stayed there for a family celebration. 12 in total with ages ranging from 20 to 90. Tons of space. Beautiful views. Lots to do. We highly recommend!

Great stay for our family reunion

We had a three night family reunion at Storybook Pines and it was the perfect spot for it. Our family came from all over the country (California, North Carolina, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Maine) and we had such a wonderful time. The house was huge and fit our large family with room to spare. The main living space was very spacious with a great kitchen with new appliances and tons of seating. The game area and movie room was a huge hit, particularly with the younger crowd. And the backyard space was relaxing with nice access to the lake. We enjoyed using the canoe, kayaks, and standup paddle board. We all agreed that this house was amazing and we highly recommend it.
