“It’s a lovely place to stay if you like walking a lot. It’s a short drive to local places of interest. The hosts are lovely and very accommodating. The ladder up to the bedroom is quite a quirky feature. Overall it’s a lovely cosy base to explore from.”

“Lovely tranquil campsite. We stayed in the 2 man pod, clean, comfortable and secluded. We had pizzas in the evening which were super delicious and so reasonably priced. Friendly staff, all round a great place to stay”

“Great place to stay, especially with the dog. Fabulous walking right from the pod door. The pods are great, all clean, the double bed is definitely cosy but their description of the pod on the website is accurate, it is basic but they never profess to be anything else. Barbecue in front of each pod is great, we cooked supper and breakfast on it, for all you carnivores, the butcher in Fownhope is fabulous. If you just need a base to chill out in, this is absolutely perfect.”
