The house was very nice, it was clean, in a great location and fit our family needs perfectly. The host was very easy to communicate with and got back to me very quickly. The location was a great spot between Cincinnati and the ark, I would definitely stay there again!
Lots of room in the house, pool was crystal clear. Close to amenities.A few things needed some work and entire house could use some tlc for minor things like toilet paper holder in master was missing, fridge filter needs replaced, coffee maker not working. Also could use a deep clean, fan blades dusty, bottom of fridge need some love. Ants in the kitchen.
The house was very clean and having all the toiletries supplied was a huge plus. The beds are not made for tall people though. Very low to the floor and so is the sofa. The sofa definitely needs to be replaced because it sinks down when you sit on it. Kitchen could use a couple extra pots and pans and a larger skillet. The neighbors were all very friendly with us! Great location for a quiet stay.
The house is very large and in a good, quiet neighborhood. The pool was in good shape. It did need some cleaning while we were there. The kitchen needed a few more cooking utensils but overall was fine. The oven needed cleaning. When we cooked in it you could smell the leftover drippings.
We were 3 couples, 2 kids and two teens visiting the ark encounter and creation museum. Centrally located, nice neighborhood, very spacious, comfortable, nicely decorated and a space for everyone. There were missing some supplies that could have been helpful for our group size, like garbage bags, extra toilet paper, laundry soap, tissues etc.. There was a dollar general close by to pick up some stuff. It could have been a little cleaner in some areas including the pool but overall it worked very well for us. Peaceful and comfortable stay. We recommend it.
Would have been 5-stars if cleaned before we arrived
The property is great - as is the location. Upon arrival though, we noticed several things out of sort. About a half cup of dry rice in the lower cabinets, soy sauce throughout the utensil drawer, and the utensils in the drawer had food stuck to them. Im giving 4 stars because the property manager was very responsive and offered to correct it quickly. We decided to do a quick tidy up and take care of the inconvenience. The neighbors are wonderful and the location is great if you have a family.
Great house, tucked away in a nice little subdivision
Had a family vacation where we went to Ark Encounter and Cincinnati Zoo. This is located about a half hour from each!
Outside of those two attractions, we didn't feel as though we needed to do anything else as we had all the space and (almost all) amenities we needed at the house!
The kids loved playing ping pong, pool, and swim in the pool. It was also a bonus to have a kitchen table big enough for our larger family.
The only "even better if" feedback would be if there was a grill on-site. We did bring our own portable one from prior reviews, but it was a hit of a hassle that'd be nice to avoid.
All in all we are hoping to return in a few years!
This house was the perfect place for our family to stay. Located halfway between the Ark Encounter and the Creation Museum, each was an easy 1/2 hour drive away. The house was big enough for the adults to each have a bedroom on the ground floor and the kids to enjoy the basement. This was my first time working with Grand Welcome, and I must say it was a treat. My liaison texted me ahead of time so that I could just text back if we needed anything. When we arrived, the house was true to the pictures. Mom and I looked in the kitchen cabinets and encountered a problem though. There were very few pots and pans to cook with for our large group of 7. When I expressed my concern to the liaison, she immediately asked what we needed and had it there for us within just a couple of hours! Talk about excellent customer service. Our stay was amazing. The house had plenty of room to spread out at the end of the day, and my mother, who has trouble getting around on stairs, had no trouble accessing everything on the ground floor.
The place was clean and great! When we came up on minor issues they were out to check and fix immediately. Always polite and respectful. The living area upstairs was great for our group of 4 adults. Kids 8-10 ( 4 of them ) had their own space downstairs including game room and 2 bedrooms. So for the most part the kids could be free range downstairs while adults were upstairs. I would not recommend this set up if you have toddlers there is not a gate to prevent falls and thre is a door out to the pool from the lower level. All our kids were a good age to be ok there. You can also oversee the pool from the upper deck off the kitchen/ dining room to watch or call them up. Once the middle griddle burner on the stove gets fixed( they are already working on it) then it will help cook for a large group. There is only one casserole dish. They need one more and one more larger sauce pan .. then easily cook for an 8 person party. Having a crockpot was great too.!I put chicken in it on low let it cook all day we were out then just had to make the pasta and rolls veggies to go with it and supper was done. I would come here again
We greatly enjoyed our stay. House was great for our family. The pool was closed for the fall/winter season. Really quiet neighborhood. Two bedrooms were on the ground level and two bedrooms were downstairs. Great dining room and living room.
Check in process a little cumbersome and first time I’ve had to use an automated system to capture a picture of my ID. But other than that, everything was great! House is as advertised and well stocked. Check out process was very easy and host checked in on us a couple of times to make sure things were going well.
We had an issue with the complicated coffee maker that kept giving us error messages. We communicated with Matt several times and he responded promptly and offered suggestions. We were able to fix it somewhat but it kept having issues. I’d say the over all stay was excellent except for the ongoing coffee machine issues.
This was a family vacation and we enjoyed staying at the house. It was clean the pool was very clean. I’m a senior citizen and I have back problems so I could not sit on any of the couches which were very low. Also, in the three bathrooms, there was only one hand towel. It would’ve been nice to have additional towels. Other than that, it was a great stay. I communicated with the owners and they were very cooperative and I would recommend the house for a family vacation.
