  • Take a break from it all in this cosy, retro self contained cottage nestled in a private corner of beautiful Wandiligong, just 5 minutes from Bright.
    Kaighins Lane is central to the offerings of Wandi, the local hotel, rail trail and historical walks yet is still private and peaceful for a relaxing getaway with someone special.

    Featuring open plan living the cosy lounge calls for you to curl up by the wood fire with a classic movie on the flatscreen TV or whip up a delicious breakfast in your well equipped kitchen with Nespresso machine. Reverse cycle cooling & heating makes for year round comfort. Your furry friend is also welcome to join you!

    The loft style bedroom features a * king bed * with all bedding & linen provided as well as an extensive library to while away the days.
    The highlight of this hidden gem is the gorgeous undercover outdoor area with green surrounds and private serenity. Enjoy a BBQ or glass of local wine in the afternoon sun or relax on the barrel chair in the private yard with that book you've been waiting to finish! Relax and leave the world behind.

A peaceful retreat

The property lived up to everything we expected. The house is well set out and comfortable. The loft bedroom is very spacious and the lounge area equally so. The kitchen is functional and adequately supplied. Our dogs enjoyed the generous well enclosed yard. There were lovely walks within easy reach for exploring the local area. It was great to just relax and enjoy the peace.

Lovely property, very relaxing. Garden and bird life was great. Perhaps a choice of upstair or downstair bedroom would be good idea to offer for people with dodgy knees or hips. Otherwise very enjoyable stay

Delightful gem short drive from town

The house and garden were beautifully presented, with everything necessary for a comfortable stay. The garden was always full of colorful birds and occasional bunnies. The location is just 5 min drive from Bright so restaurants, walking tracks and parks are all very close. Highly recommend a meal at the Wandi Pub around the camp fire. The owners are evidently very proud of this house as it is clean and in good condition, so cleaning up ready to vacate was quite easy, albeit rather sad. Will certainly return.

Magical!

Absolutely perfect and amazing place for a cozy and romantic weekend away. Our dog Frankie loved the big yard and bush walks around the majestic little town of Wandiligong and nearby Bright. Also loved the day trip to the snow in Dinner Plain only an hour away before curling up in front of the beautiful fire place. Cannot rate this place highly enough, we are now talking about making it an annual trip!

Very cosy

I stayed here with my dog for a few days of mtn biking and chilling out. This is a fantastic location right by the trails and lots of room for the puppy to play. We loved it!

Garden is divine. Home so comfortable and homey.

We loved sleeping in the tree tops in the loft bedroom and hearing the birdsong in the morning. The garden is just beautiful,loved wandering around it with our dog! Lovely house in a gorgeous little village. Hope the village stays like this.
