「The Castle Inn is a lovely traditional,thatched roof inn a 20min walk from Lulworth. The staff were really lovely,each of them friendly and clearly all work hard and look after their guests well..The pub is furnished to a high standard and the room was so cosy and tastefully decorated. The breakfast was good and they have a wide menu for lunch and dinner. The dinner we ate there could have been better,but it wasn't bad..Would definitely stay again.」

「A lovely one night stay. The pub is in a quiet village location, close to lots of interesting places in beautiful Dorset countryside. Our room was large, with an equally large bathroom. We ate in the pub in the evening. The menu choice was good, prices reasonable and the food was excellent. We had our breakfast served outside in the garden and, again, this was tasty, hot and really enjoyable. Thoroughly recommended.」

「Last minute booking. Dog friendly inn. Paid £20 extra for the dog for 1 night. Nice room, restaurant has very good food. Breakfast was very good as well. Very friendly staff.」

「The staff could not have been more helpful - David in particular - at reception and in serving breakfast. This really makes all the difference after a tiring day travelling. It was lovely having table service at breakfast. I was able to take my dinner to my room which I really appreciated too. The bed was one of the best hotel beds/mattresses I have slept on and I had a very good night's sleep. The carpark was conveniently placed for my hotel room also. 「A very enjoyable stay, the room was beautifuly decorated with plenty of space. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was very good. Had a meal in the restaurant first evening which was very enjoyable. Great outdoor and indoor space to have a drink. Poole is a lovely area and we thought this hotel was very good value.」
