“Amber is absolutely amazing. Greeted us the moment we arrived and was also there for any questions or concerns we had. She also gave us fresh duck eggs, and they were YUMMY!!!The property is so unique with chickens, roosters, ducks, peacocks, ostriches, goats, donkey, mini horses, regular horses all enclosed and there for viewing (bring some carrots, apples, lettuce) they love it!! “My girlfriend, dog (Sheppard)and I had the misfortune of only being able to stay two nights. We arrived later than planned and the property manager Robert was not only great at commutation but was a warm and friendly person. He gave us a tour upon arrival at 830 pm which included the Casita we stay in, the art gallery of truly original local artists.(All for sale which we will be back to by some of). “Had a wonderful stay at the Shangri-La Mountain Retreat! Not a stretch to say one of the best stocked rental homes ever I've ever booked. We stayed two nights with three families including kids ranging from 2-12 years old. Everything you could ask for was available for cooking in the kitchen with more than enough glasses and tableware in excellent condition. “Owners have done a great job at making this cool little funky cabin an enjoyable place to get away. It was clean and comfortable. Great water pressure, claw foot tub, decent AC, patio deck with a bbq and fire pit. We had access to a washer/ dryer as well. Plenty of clean linens and new mattresses (although the main bedrooms bed was a little soft for my liking) I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again..money well spent.”
