“The house was wonderful”

“This house is very nice, although it’s lacking in a few areas for its price. A hot tub and game room were present in other Luray homes we have stayed in previously for a few hundred dollars less. The home has character of yesteryears and accommodated my family quite well. And the checkout policy is very easy. We did have a problem entering the home as the code given to me was incorrect. It would have been nice to have a phone number to contact the host but only email communication was provided……

“Best VRBO/rental where we have stayed. Clean and welcoming, with comfortable rooms and thoughtful amenities. WIFI worked great!! Three of us needed to connect for work. It was easy! We cooked! Kitchen was well supplied with pots, pans, utensils, plenty of plates, cups etc. Newer appliances and everything was easy to use and functioned well! Location was perfect. Close to two towns where we enjoyed casual dinners and coffee shops(Doggery and Cordial Coffee, Daily Buzz), with Costco and Food Lion……

“We had a lovely Holiday retreat with family. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and pots to cook, and the grill outside was easy to use. Beds were very comfy and lots of blankets. Bathrooms were very nice too.”

“We found the house to be perfectly suitable for a wedding rehearsal dinner for over 60 people! The house was a big hit with our guests! They all took a tour and raved about the house!”

“We had a great stay at Hillandale! It was a perfect spot for gathering family in town for our son’s wedding. It was clean, comfortable and very well stocked. There were lovely extras like snack baskets and fresh flowers in every room and extra toiletries in the bathrooms. A highlight was the beautiful outdoor space and setting. The house is an old farmhouse that has been added on to over the years which makes for long windy hallways upstairs and lots of hidden staircases. We loved it. Do note……
