A T head has been added to the dock, so the deeper water can be accessed with a cast from your fishing poles.

Cute little apartment

Was convenient to my job site and had all the necessary amenities. Arlene was a great, responsive host. 2 small issues- no ac/heat in bedroom, so it can get pretty hot in the summer Lots of moths and other flying bugs Other than that, great place to stay and well worth the price!

Units not ready

The strawberry festival in Kinsale was lovely, as were the cornfield and river sunsets. NN Burger in Tappahannock is a must-have, but avoid their movie theater! Not much going on in the area, you have to drive pretty far to get to things to do. Major problems with both units on the property (bathrooms/plumbing, available appliances, pests, etc) and we ended up with access to both to make up for the fact that neither was really ready. The pond was suffering from some sort of algae bloom and was not particularly pleasant. Owners were friendly, check in was no contact and there were spare keys. They did mail us a shirt we left behind.
