"Was in town by myself just for a weekend and this place was a good spot for me by myself to base camp out of. It's close enough to town to walk in to explore and away from things enough to be quiet."

"Wine Alley West was a convenient and clean place. It's close to the Amtrak station, wineries, shopping, and eating. The owners provide many amenities with needed kitchen accessories including silverware, bowls and dishes. Beds were comfortable and plenty of towels were provided for showers. Layout of kitchen and living space was pleasant. Plenty of outlets for charging cords."

"The place was perfect for a two day trip. It was clean and had a great view of the little lake and fall colors. We were able to cook breakfast on the electric griddle provided, however, we were not able to grill the steaks we had planned because of no way to clean the grill. No problem, though, we just had an authentic German meal out instead."

I’m not sure how it would comfortably ever fit 6 people as the listing says. We had 4 and it was a little crammed. The bathroom and bedrooms do not have locks. "We stayed there mostly in the evening time - there is a train nearby, but didn't hear due the air conditioning system drowning out the sound. Slept amazingly well - as we were there to deal with family issues...both my husbands and my scores on our fitbits were quite high. Decorated very nicely and fits the definition of a cottage. Would book for a stay again - should we find the need."
