What mattered to us the most was cleanliness and comfort of a home as we were looking to cook dinners in the property (i.e., we were focused on a property with a full kitchen, grill, woodstove, etc.). 1. The property was generally clean and charming ("rustic", as advertised!) and we were impressed upon entering. Check-in was very easy. 4-5 star experience! 2. “Loved this stay - the farmhouse is authentic and oozes charm! Everything about this stay was easy - 20min drive to the slopes, 15 min to downtown Rutland, and an extremely well-equipped house to easily accommodate the six of us. Superb communication from the host both prior to and during our stay (promptly answered several questions for us). If you want a vintage farmhouse feel as opposed to a modern condo-style stay, this is the place for you!”

“OMG - this place is fantastic. An oasis of peace and quiet yet close to so many things - Albany Rep for theatre, 38 mins away, Saratoga - 38 min away, Bennington museums - 38 min away. Manchester VT - 38 min away. This house is so impeccably appointed and comfortable, you want for nothing. Add in the "see to the horizon" sight lines out your bedroom window and you know you are in heaven. You know the host cares for your comfort - she has even added a bit of magic to your stay”
