“The surprises started as we went up the loudest, creakiest staircase which was really like climbing to the third floor. “Great location and great layout. The host was easy to communicate with and helpful with getting an additional parking pass. The unit was clean and comfortable. Just a couple of hints on things you could add to increase comfort level:Extra blanketsWine glassesAdditional plates, bowls and glasses Bedside tables on both sides on beds A hard copy of directions to access the rental portal - the link provided thru VRBO would not work thru the app. ”

A little warm for us but we complied other than at night, which we needed it cooler to sleep. Every time we’d leave and return the thermostat would be set at 85. This would happen overnight too. “We loved the location for walking our dog and for going to restaurants and to Rose Rock creamery for ice cream.You have got to try Dilly Diner next to the iconic Blue Dome. Check in was easy and the beds were super comfortable. Loved the big, soft towels and cozy blankets to snuggle under. We wish it had been warm enough to use the pool-it looked inviting and this unit looks down on it. Because you are in the vibrant downtown, remember that you will have some noise of sirens, garbage trucks……
