「Extremely poor communication from property owner/host. Once trip was booked i didn’t hear back from them AT ALL!!! I had questions and requests that went completely unanswered!!! Also the thing we were most excited for, the pool, was full of dead and alive bugs. And before you ask, no there was no net whatsoever to clean them out of the pool so we could enjoy it. We ended up just packing all of our stuff back up and leaving only 3 hours into our stay, seeing as even if we reached out to the...

「We enjoyed our stay. The cabin was clean, had a fully stocked kitchen area which was super nice and the AC worked wonderfully. The property is beautiful and well kept. The host is very quick at replying and explaining the check in process as well as the house rules / expectations. The only recommendation I’d have is blinds for the bedroom to catch a few extra ZzZZz’s but not a deal breaker for sure. We are hoping to return in a year or two for another stay and to visit the wilds again. Highly...

「This is our second time staying at Jesse's property. He has made multiple improvements to the home since our first trip. The Wi-Fi has been upgraded and worked wonderfully! Just having access to the hot tub is 100% worth it for us. The kitchen has plenty of cookware, silverware, plates and cups. He has included hand soap and dish soap. The improvement we were most happy about is the walkway that was added from where you park to the porch. We will definitely be booking again!!」

「The small cabin/house is a great spot for relaxing and enjoying the hot tub. Burr Oak Lake beach is a short drive, but not a walk. There is a Lakeview Trail access less than 1/2 mile up the road, and this trail takes you to the lake (approx. 1 mile). Definitely would recommend the place.」

「Cozy cabin in the woods where we enjoyed a beautiful clear sky night with excellent star gazing. Owners were great communicators, beds were comfortable and we enjoyed the decks. Close enough to town to get there quickly, but away from that hustle and bustle.Thank you!Erin and Scott」

「Pros: It is a beautiful property. The pics accurately represent the dwelling, host is responsive, ammenities are plentiful, kitchens are stocked and host recommendations were helpful.Cons: You can't check in a minute early w/o a fee. After an 8 hour drive, I arrived 30 minutes early and couldn't check in. The instructions to get in were not complete (missing a necessary step), so we ended up not getting in until 20 minutes after our check in time when the host texted they unlocked it remotely....
