「Great location」

「Our family had the best time in Alexandria and DC proper with The George as our homebase. Beds were very comfortable, living space and linens were all fresh and clean. The property is very close to a Safeway grocery store and with all the amenities The George offered we could easily prepare meals. The creative decor in shades of blue and coral, and special attention to detail all around the home, namely the hand painted mural in the living room, treated us all to an exceptional patriotic, DC...

「Great location. This is a great place to stay if you are attending a convention because it is walking distance from the convention center. Living in the inner city of Houston I appreciate the eccentricity of downtown DC. My friends and I felt safe and had no complaints of the locals.」

「Super cute rental. It was updated and modern. The bed was very comfortable with luxury bedding. The owners were really nice and helpful. Only two blocks from the Metro station so we didn't need a car. The neighborhood had many local places to eat and several grocery stores nearby. We will stay here again if we return to DC. 」

「We didn’t receive check in info until I messaged the owner 30 mins before our arrival. The neighborhood is not great, it’s noisy, and there is no close proximity for restaurants or groceries. Would not recommend for small kids or families at all. The place desperately needs attention to multiple things that were either broken or just not clean. There is not 4 full bedrooms, but 3. The bed was broken in the second bedroom right in the middle and impossible to get rest on. Lamps in the floor and...

「Highly recommend this property! GREAT location. Hosts were overly communicative and very accessible throughout the entire process. We had a couple unfortunate circumstances pop up (our oldest got sick) and Collin/ Laurie handled the situation SO well (we also were very communicative on the front end so that helped!) Only criticism - master bedroom shower is a bit finicky - so just keep that in mind when turning it on - it takes a while to warm up and then it turns scalding! I think this is a...
