  • The Luxury Lookout is a custom luxury log retreat in Wasilla that comfortably accommodates up to 6 guests and offers a one-of-a-kind Alaska stay. Designed with warmth, romance, and rustic elegance in mind, every detail creates a cozy yet elevated experience.

    • Open-concept living area with soaring log-beam ceilings
    • Fully equipped gourmet kitchen

    • Cozy fireplaces and upscale finishes throughout

    Ideal for 4 guests, with space for up to 6 using two fold-out twin beds located in the loft (see photos). Perfect for couples, anniversaries, families, and special getaways.

    House Rules:
    No pets
    No smoking
    No parties
    No large gatherings
    Quiet hours after 10 PM

    Please note: A $400 cleaning fee may apply if hot tub rules are not followed.

Fantastic place. Well stocked and just beautiful. It is near many amenities in Washilla but still manages to feel really remote when you are there and look at that wonderful view.

This was a beautiful homes & loved all the chandeliers! The view is stunning on a clear day. It was just two of us & we only used the first floor which was very comfortable. We would recommend this home & the host was quick to communicate with.

The property was absolutely magnificent!!! The chandeliers were stunning! They made the house sparkle. Every detail was well thought out and gorgeously executed - from the record player and collection, to the tile in the showers, the utensils and the bubble bath. We were able to relax in absolute luxury and then gaze at the view in the observatory.

The hosts went above and beyond to make my parents’ 48th anniversary feel truly special, with sparkling cider, chocolates, an orchid, and other thoughtful touches that made our arrival feel so warm and celebratory. That level of hospitality set the tone for the entire stay.Inside, the cabin is impeccable. Every detail feels elevated, intentional, and luxurious, from the bedding and furniture to the overall design and comfort of the space. It is rare to find a property that feels this refined while still being so welcoming and relaxing. They truly thought of everything.The setting is just as extraordinary. The views of the Alaskan mountains are spectacular, especially from the hot tub. The lookout tower with the telescope made the entire experience feel even more special, and the turntable with its excellent vinyl selection was such a unique touch that added to the atmosphere perfectly.We loved it all so much that we extended our stay an extra day, which says it all. And our young children (8 and 9) loved it just as much! This is one of those rare properties that genuinely delivers on luxury, experience, and hospitality. An exceptional stay in every sense.
