Charming hotel

Charming hotel in beautiful location. Also close to the motorway. Only stayed overnight on the way somewhere else, so I don't know what it would be like for a walking holiday, but I suspect it would be excellent.

Quiet and peaceful

Super value and a quiet, peaceful place to stay. No frills but just what we needed. Coffee was available (for a price) from an automatic machine which was super helpful because we had to leave the next morning before breakfast was served.

Traveling from Costa del Sol to Copenhagen and found this wonderful hotel in the hills just across the border from Luxembourg. Friendly staff and very helpful and food and beer was excellent with many locals coming to the hotel for food and beer. Excellent Wi-Fi and very clean room and good bed and shower. Will stay again when travelling in that area.

Good hotel, off the beaten track

Nice hotel in quiet place, one road leads there it is close to the forest. They have all facilities incl. Parking, breakfast, etc. My room was bit dated but everything worked.

The description of the hotel is absolutely opposite yo what we have seen. The room was not clean, there was hair on the floor in the washroom, dust on the floor and the strong smell of smoke in the room and in the facility. On Hotels.com it says that cash is not accepted, but in the hotel they asked us to pay with cash only for the breakfast which was disgusting. The plates with cheese and sausages were two or three days old with dried pieces of the product. The description of the hotel is not truthful.

We had to leave one night earlier due to urgent family circumstances and the lady was so kind to refund the breakfast and a big part of the night we had to cancel. We will definitely go back, friendly staff, good breakfast and a restaurant inside the hotel.

Ich war hier vom 22. bis 24.05 und bin absolut begeistert! Das Hotel liegt idyllisch inmitten der Natur – perfekt zum Abschalten und Genießen. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich das Restaurant-Team: Der Service war unglaublich herzlich, aufmerksam und einfach zum Wohlfühlen. Man merkt sofort, dass hier mit echter Leidenschaft gearbeitet wird. Das Essen war hervorragend, die Atmosphäre einfach nur herrlich. Ich habe mich rundum wohlgefühlt und kann es kaum erwarten, wiederzukommen! Vielen Dank an das gesamte Team <3 ihr macht das Waldhotel Albachmuehle zu etwas ganz Besonderem!
