There was a spot on carpet looked like a huge blood stain things were dirty and smelled like marajuana reallly bad .... i would have like to have a different room but the desk person didnt seem to think the hudge spot on floor was a deal ..... Id like to request a free night stay for what i delt with if possible

The stay was great a big spacious suit hotel was very quiet. I feel like house keeping should do a better job there was torn paper behind the TV and under coffee table also toilet seat was broke.

One of the staff members came and picked up the money for 2 days. Saturday to Monday. When I went to check out the situation later, she swore I owed money, and even yelled at me. I only had 200 dollars gave her 160 booked the reservation and 156.00$ was what I owed. Yet she put her foot in her mouth when she described the bills 5 twenty dollar bills, 1 fifty dollar bill, and a 10 dollar bill. Yet she tried to say that I owed her. No she still owes me 3 dollars. With my situation I feel she was trying to get over on me. And she was very unprofessional, and disrespectful. Other than that I feel that they are nice rooms and I'm very happy with the rest of the staff.

Room was supposed to be a queen suite. The bed was definitely not a queen but rather a full, the walls looked like someone splattered food or something on them, the chair had the head area completely rubbed out, there were sprays of cleaner all over the microwave, and the freezer looked like someone had brought raw meat in and let the juices bleed all over it. Was overall very gross. Would not stay here again.

Pros: kitchenette, full fridge, microwave and dishwasher Cons: kitchenette did NOT have any dinnerware, silverware or pots or pans to cook with. IF you wanted to cook, the hotel sold pots and pans for $45. Place is affordable which means people live there. There were cobwebs in the hallway.

We we surprised to see that the rooms were so bare- no cups, no coffee, no ice bucket, not a single complimentary toiletry item, undersized tv, etc. - like staying in a prison cell. Beds were mostly comfortable but with visible stains. Carpet in room and throughout hallways was stained and dirty. Overall very gross- made for some fun joking within the family but wouldn't ever recommend- even at half the cost.

Do not stay here. Terrible management, they will refuse to offer you another room even if theirs is full of bed bugs. This has probably been the worst hotel I've ever been to. We had to find another place to stay and they kept pushing the refund saying "the manager wasn't there". Don't even think about staying here no matter how cheap.

It is nice to have a kitchen area and leather furniture. The bedding was dirty, the carpet in the stairwells was so dirty I did not use them. At this price point I didn’t expect fancy but you can expect clean.

The first thing I noticed when I walked in was the smell of marijuana. The entire place was pretty rundown looking and I honestly didn't feel comfortable sleeping in the bed. The bedding had stains on it, the toilet seat had a weird stain on it, the leather chair in the room had the headrest completely worn down. For the price I guess I can't complain that much, but the room just did not feel like it was clean and it was hard to be comfortable.

You get what you pay for!
My family was there for a wedding, and we had two rooms to accommodate the crew. The hotel smelled like marijuana when we walked in but the floor that we were on, did not. Overall it was a fine, we mainly just slept there and the beds were comfortable. Our only complaint was that the toilet was clogged, however nothing in it to have caused it, and the hotel did not have a plunger we could use at 1am to unclog it. When I called the staff, it sounded as though they were at home rather than on site because I heard a child in the background and they said they were new and would have to call me back to let me know if someone could take care of it. No phone call came as I stayed up to get it right away, when it rang, since it was in the middle of the night and then at 7am, someone is knocking on our door with a plunger. Thank goodness we had two rooms so we could use the other rooms toilet while we waited for ours to get unclogged. I've never heard of a hotel not having a plunger that obviously has many toilets.

When I checked out at 7 am, nobody was at the front desk to give my key cards too. One of my key cards did not work The recliner's foot rest did not go down easily The drain in the bathtub/shower did not drain well. The frig was load, I had to turn it down so I could sleep. The extra lock on my room was broke. The room smelled like smoke. Otherwise the room was okay.

Was around amenities. Very upset of the 50.00 non refundable pet charge plus 10.00 per night. Motel staff said it was Expedia that charged for pets. Also called motel and someone said the motel charged the 50 dollar fee refundable. WHO IS TELLING the truth

The GSR who checked us in Friday is a 10 star employee. She could have used a delivery person for room requests. Is the pool going to open? The hotel was adequate and had soacious rooms. There was no ice bucket and there was two bath towels issued to room. We went down and go two more for our 4 person party. 3 stars for this property.

Our room and the hallways were not clean. We lifted up the mattresses and mattress cover to check for bed bugs (which I always do at every hotel we stay at) and they were full of dirt and stains. Water did not drain from tub and the chairs were worn and aged. We will not be back.

A\C in room didn't work. Dirty bathroom floor.
We checked into our room to find the A/C was not working and we couldn't get any satellite signal on the tv. The lady at the desk was very nice and apologetic. She can to our room to see if she could fix tge issues. We ended up moving rooms. A\C was better but not great. The bathroom floor was filthy. Hair and grime had been mopped up against the baseboard and left to dry like that. We will not stay at a Suburban extended stay ever again

Fire alarm went at 4:00 am off due to inadequate pressure. The next day the power went out for a couple hours. Unfortunate events that left a bad feeling about the stay. The Staff was amazing.

1st off. I was here visiting my husband who is a traveling nurse.. Front desk women have horrible attitudes & during my stay I rarely ever saw anyone at the front desk! They charged me double & when I called about it, she said it was an incident holding fee that I would receive back once I checked out. When I called about my money another lady said 7-10 business days! I have no problem with an “incident holding” fee, I just wasn’t told about this during my check in but the real truth is this hotel isn’t nice enough for an incident holding fee of $240! The sheets had cigarette Burns in them, the toilet was disgusting and looked VERY gross, that my daughter was afraid to use it, we had 0 tissue in the room! I mean I just didn’t feel clean!

We will never be using the Suburban Extended stay in Waterloo ever again, It was awful. It smelled bad and there were room doors propped open with people being very loud all night with yelling and loud music. The front desk even had one of those metal security panels that came down and locked. After not being able to sleep all night at around 330 in the morning I began itching and found the bed bug eating me, I attached pic of it. So I went out and stayed in my van the rest of the morning.

Not good.
There’s nothing spectacular about the Suburban Extended Stay. I’m not sure it was geared toward casual business travelers. For the price they charge, there were almost no little extras. There was about a 1/4” left on the roll of TP and I needed to ask for more. Most extended stay hotels have paper towels, dishes, water glasses, etc. That was available but for an additional cost. When I pulled back the sheets there were some hairs in the bed so I was hoping they were from the housekeeping staff. Overall, not great.

Ok stay, not great by any means...
Our TV didn't work so they gave us a discount on our room. The hotel was in decent condition and not in a scary part of town or anything but we could tell that upkeep of the property had slipped in the last year or two. Paint needed to be freshened throughout, cleaning wasn't to the standard it should have been... too bad, it has potential. The gals at the front desk were as helpfuls as they could be, except the one named Heather... she was horribly rude.

There is nothing in the room.. No kleenex, no cups, no extra toilet paper, nothing. And when I went to check out I was charged an extra fee every day for linen service even though I was only there 2 nights and never had any maid service whatsoever. They are adding this fee on and it seems to be a scam. I was at the desk for an hour trying to get my money back for that.

Room wasn’t ready at check-in time. A lot of technical issues that should have been resolved by management. The staff members did their best to accommodate. No issues with the room, it was actually quite spacious and comfortable.

The beds were comfortable and the HVAC system worked well. Didn't like the floors were filthy, bathtub had no drain plug, the bathtub faucet and shower head both ran at the same time couldn't make either stop, no cups to drink and no coffee cups, there was a coffee maker but no coffee. Next time would sleep in the car before checking in to this hotel.
