"The breakfast both mornings was delightful - homemade, fresh, & absolutely delicious. The food is well presented with every detail covered! Each item is described via a small blackboard on the wall. The breakfast room is comfortable as well as quite functional. Juice carafes are available on the small tables too. The room we stayed in had a nice view of the open land out back & the picturesque barn. The bed was very comfortable as were the chairs. We could not be happier with our experience at this Bed & breakfast. We hope to return one day soon!"

"It's not ideal if you plan to ski in Mount Stowe. Geographically, they are close, but the road connecting Smuggs Notch and Stowe is closed during the winter months. It took us 1 hour to get to Stowe and 1 hour back, which was not what we planned. Other than that major mishap, the house is great. "

"Bob was an excellent host and his house is the perfect homebase for a Vermont ski vacation. It's a short, easy drive away from Smuggler’s Notch and secluded while still being close to Underwood and Jericho where you can find stores and restaurants (and the snowflake museum!). It's also right next to an excellent sledding hill and Bob has a couple of sleds you can borrow. Our 7-year old son had a great time! The inside of the house is cozy and relaxing and provides a great respite after a day on the slopes (or at the Ben & Jerry's ice cream factory). We will definitely be looking to return. "
