“It was very clean. Customer service was okay, not bad. Seemed like I was bothering them when I went to ask for more tp and towels. Bummed they didn't have laundry machines but I didn't check ahead of time so that's not their fault. Breakfast was simple and good.”

“Avoid this one place. I never leave reviews, but if this helps one person it’s worth it. Our first room smelled like someone had a bunch of wet dogs in it, the clock didn’t work, and the tv speakers were blown. I thought it was a fluke and spoke with the gentleman at the front desk and asked for a new room; he moved us with no issue. But when we got to the new room is was a smoking room and we reserved a nonsmoking, not good when you have breathing difficulties. At this point it was midnight and……

“Good room size but smells. Front desk was helpful and switched us to different room. 2nd room smells little better but has strong male cologne smell. Ok breakfast. Hard to find Uber or Lyft from the hotel. Didn’t use pool or gym so no comments on these. ”

“The Retreat Center offered a fabulous opportunity for a midpoint stop. The location and property were stunning. The drive into the property offered great promise of a comfortable stay. The after hours check in was simple and the access to the room was right off the main driveway. Parking was easily accessible and close to the unit. The room itself was large, very clean, with a mini kitchen should it be necessary, and a single serve coffee pot was available. The bathroom was very clean, great……

“Great hotel for our overnight while traveling between the Midwest and the gulf. We chose an ADA room for our family, which had great space for my teenage kids. The roll-in shower makes the entire bathroom like a shower room, and we preferred it over the bathtub/ shower combo. Front desk / concierge was very helpful and accommodating on arrival. The pool was closed by 10pm when we arrived, so we weren’t able to enjoy that part of our stay. Breakfast also wasn’t served late enough in the……
