Be aware...

This is not a complaint, but an attempt to advise future renters of what to expect. While the accommodations were clean and adequate, there were several items that were not included: shampoo, conditioner, Kleenex, hair dryer, foil, Ziplocs, or any type of "tupperware" storage containers. The property is advertised as accommodating 6 people, however the living room is so small that there isn't adequate seating for 6 people. On the upside, there are 2 small full bathrooms, however, there is no place to put any toiletries outside of the medicine chest and nowhere to hang more than 1 towel. The balcony view & access to the beach were amazing. This property is not ADA compliant, toddler friendly or accessible to persons with mobility issues. Perhaps the listing needs to be updated.

It was a nice place. The condo had all the essentials. Fireplace was a great addition given the cool mornings! Overall it was a good trip!

Clam review

We had a wonderful vacation here. Place was clean and maintained. Carpet should be replaced . People should be aware that there is no beach access from condo itself. There is a staircase and gate on each side. Ocean views were fantastic. Would definitely recommend this place.

Fun at the beach

We had a great time, enjoy the resort will return again next year. The pictures posted on the internet are a little misleading, you have to go down some stairs to get to the beach. I would recommend this location the clam hut to anyone

Beautiful View

Loud Waves Crashing, Beach Chairs Available!! Plenty of hot water for a family of 4. Quiet neighborhood, laundry options were perfect. Plenty of sea shells for the hunter and gatherers. lots of stairs and lots of walking which we surely enjoyed. What would of been helpful comfier beds (extra pillow top of sorts would of been nice) Nothing available to wash our sandy feet before coming in the house (would of liked a hose of some sort) No recycle option (everything went into one bin) The carpet was in horrible shape - you did not feel comfortable sitting on the floor or taking your shoes off, pot holders of some sort would of been nice to help with cooking, a tea kettle would of helped to boil water for tea, a few more plug options instead there were multiple plugs hanging out from single outlets, downstairs bathroom shower fan did not work and set the smoke alarm off when taking a hot shower.

Clam Hut

The listing is accurate for the townhouse. Great beach, with lots of sand dollars. Neighbors are a little inquisitive but overall friendly. My only concern, was with the large number of off leash dogs.

Short getaway

We stayed there for a couple of days. Great views of the ocean. Clean and well appointed rooms. Oven didn't work though. Also not enough amenities.

Great view

My family and I enjoyed our stay by the beach. It was great barbequing on the balcony and watching the sunset. The view was spectacular, and we would come back again.

Nice place to stay...

I was pleased with the overall booking. Beautiful views, loud surf right outside, semi-private beach. I wish I'd paid better attention to the details though. This is a 2 story accommodation and I guess I didn't read the description well enough to catch that. That's on me though. The only real issue I had though was the mattress was a little too firm. Ended up sleeping on the couch instead. I probably won't be back, only because I don't do well with stairs. I highly recommend this for others without that limitation though.

Amazing getaway

I’ve stayed here several times now and it’s a fantastic getaway. The location of the property is right on the beach and the views are amazing from the patio. Access to the beach is right out the front door. Definitely recommend and will return!

The place had an old house smell that was bothering, especially upstairs. The water in the sinks barely trickles. The keys must be picked up in person in a different city (Capitola) and that is not OK with current gas prices, very inconvenient. The office was very responsive though, thank you!

Beautiful beachfront place in quiet La Selva Beach.

Location is amazing for relaxing getaway in Monterey Bay. 15 min into Capitola or Watsonville. Windows look out on to the beach, and sunsets in the evening are jaw dropping. Check-in and -out process requires a trip into Capitola, which is fine but could really just be solved with a lockbox on the door of the place.

Excellent views! Great location!

Excellent location. Lovely views from both bedrooms and living room- incredible sunsets! Cozy and clean. Proximity to seascape and other locations in Aptos, Capitola and Santa Cruz is just awesome. We’ve now stayed in this very complex on 3 separate occasions and just love returning to it. The beach itself has great access from this complex and is relatively quiet (no too crowded). The only issue: toilet in downstairs bathroom kept running water - I kept fixing it by adjusting the chain on the flapper which would fix it - just a bit of a nuisance since the noise of the running water was disturbing.

Fall Break Vacation

We took daughter and grandkids to the beach for their fall break from school in the Denver, CO area. We have stayed there before. Condo was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for 4 nights. Had a great time at the beach but wish we had direct access rather than using the community stairs.
