「The house is a good place to stay if you need ample room and want a quiet retreat in Saranac Lake. Its not on the water but within a short drive of downtown and the lakes. If you have mobility issues this isn’t the place for you as the stairs to the second floor are very steep and there are floor level changes. The house manager should, I think, mark the floor level changes with bright tape because it takes a while to remember where they are. The house is pleasant and cosy and we enjoyed staying...

「Room was clean, warm, and very accessible to Main Street. My only concerns were that the walls were extremely thin and we would easily hear people’s voices, with a single closet door separating our room from other guests’ rooms. Fixtures/handles seem to be poorly built as well. A coat hook fell as soon as we hung a jacket, water pressure was weak, the shower faucet handle detached, couldn’t figure out how to turn on hot water, and the sliding shower door doesn’t stay closed. Not sure if we’d...

「This Lake Placid cottage was perfect for us! We were in town for the horse show, and very much appreciated being able to come home after a long day to hang out on the porch while the dogs played in the yard. The location is great, too. Close to everything, and an especially easy walk to the public beach area on Mirror Lake, which was a major perk.We ended up using both bedrooms and the sofa bed in the upstairs living room for a friend who came to visit for the weekend. All in all, it was a...

「The back storage room was very moldy and gave my daughter horrible allergies. We were there for a soccer tournament. The directions to find the apartment were not accurate they gave me the wrong store fronts to look for. Also when I messaged questions it was over 12 hours before someone got back to me and it seemed like an agency that did not know the answers. It was a very convenient location and that part was wonderful.」
