“The Yellow House is a wonderful B and B for a relaxing weekend. The owner is very conscientious and his breakfasts reflect that. There was always hot coffee available in the mornings and snacks, including home made cookies, during the day. The house is very clean and well kept. Our bed was a little small and therefore, I found it hard to sleep well. The next time we stay here I would request a room with a larger bed. I would definitely return for a weekend here. ”

They made us feel truly welcome and it was hard to peel ourselves from the beautiful porch! We are already planning our next stay here. ”

“The room was a nice size with 2 glider chairs, a desk and queen bed and room to move around!! The breakfast was delicious and very filling. The grounds with a mountain view were great for sitting and relaxing, in the morning we were lucky to see a ground hog sitting up in the yard. Brenda and Peter were the perfect hosts with being there if you needed anything. ”

“Absolutely Perfect! Precious private cabin on the peaceful and serene river on a gorgeous rolling mountain farm! The location is perfect - close to Waynesville, Maggie Valley and all surrounding towns. Great area for motorcycle riding - be aware that the road into the cabin is steep and narrow but it is paved down to the creek. We have a small enclosed trailer to haul our bike and we were fine and there is a place to park the trailer at the cabin. The hosts were gracious to offer us to park the……

“First time VRBO guest and I was nervous especially before seeing the rental and meeting the friendly, helpful host, Denise. The wood stove and dartboard were delightful amenities I did not anticipate. All of us enjoyed the hot tub especially soaking in the beautiful views of the full moon. The space was adorably decorated and more than delivered in adding to our perfect weekend!”
