“We had a great stay at this charming lake house. The owners were very responsive and communicative! The location on the lake along with the fire pit made for an awesome relaxing spot for a spring getaway.”

“Our first impression was not great. The area around the front door was dirty, there was a weed growing out of a planter and a dirty plastic plant by the door. The home appeared nice and clean upon entering. The overall feel was that someone was still living there and had just left for the weekend so we could stay there. It was an overall comfortable stay. “This place was amazing. The house’s architectural design is very unique which is what made up our mind to come here. Windows, windows & windows❤️ The fact that it is on one of Granbury’s Lake canals makes it even more special. You can not see any neighbor’s houses when you are on the large back deck even though you know they are there. The woodsy feel camouflages everything but the canal waters. The fishing is good from the dock. My husband caught 3 fish in an hour off of it. Great place to stay……

“We enjoyed a fun and relaxing Easter weekend and our three teenage boys can’t wait to rent this house again! The hosts have been thoughtful in providing all the amenities for cooking big meals, plenty of towels for a long weekend, and comfortable beds/bedding. They also had activities for everyone in our group of 7: puzzles, games, a pool table, ping pong, pickle ball, corn hole, fishing, and kayaks.”

“We had a few housekeeping concerns- several towels smelled like cigarette smoke, the potty seat was loose in the downstairs bathroom. Other than that, it was very clean! Wished we'd known about the steep steps to the upstairs and to the water! We're all 4 in our 60's. We realized we're all in really good shape! Also, not sure how 8 could sleep comfortably. It was perfect for the 4 of us (women- our husbands didn't join us this time) with one sleeping on the couch and with only 2 bathrooms. Also,……

“Traveled here with my husband and in-laws so we wanted to a home option versus a hotel so we could share a space and be together. Home was perfectly sized for us and rooms/beds were very comfortable. We stayed here to tour the stockyards and found it is just too far to walk so plan to use Uber or Lyft if you don’t have a car. Yes, you COULD walk it but it’s not a straight shot and would take at least 20 minutes. Our weather was not the best for that option as there was a chance of rain most days……

“This home has been completely redone on the inside and beautifully decorated. The couches are comfortable, the kitchen well stocked, and the master bed is very comfortable. The pool was clean and the backyard attractive. We hope to return to this lovely home when the weather allows us to use the pool!”

“Great location to the boat ramp, local eateries, and the house was awesome! Perfect size for our family and the fenced in backyard was a nice bonus. Got to see some deer and lots of dove, and the beds were very comfortable.”

“The Barn is an amazing little gem tucked away off the back roads away from the hustle and bustle, but near enough to easily get to fun things in Dallas and Fort Worth. Sitting on the porch enjoying my coffee with donkeys and cattle braying in the distance was so relaxing.”
