“The property was quaint. It was kind of dated, but was good for what we needed it for (sleep and shower after a day out in mother nature). The shower was large enough to comfortably fit my wife and I. I didn't try the breakfast at all, so I can't rate that. I would most likely stay there again (just might get a king bed instead of the queen).”

“Very disappointing stay. The room smelled horrible, and check-in wasn’t even handled on-site—we had to go down the street to another motel to check in.
The biggest concern was that the smoke detector in our room was wrapped in plastic, which appeared to make it nonfunctional. The property itself was dirty, with overflowing trash, and the advertised pool was nothing more than a small plastic kids’ pool like you would buy from a store. The parking lot was also extremely small and cramped.

“I am so impressed. It was like a luxury to be there for the night, so calm and peaceful, so well-appointed and maintained. You drive up and it looks like a motel but very nice. And you go to your room and it is amazing. The only single thing is that the folks in the adjoining room were a bit loud in the morning. Morning people :) It was just an amazing place, highly recommended.”

“This is an older property with some updates, very clean, we had an end room and it was by a residential area so fairly quiet except for the train that would pass by rarely. This was contactless check in and check out so we never spoke to a live person although we did see the housekeepers around the property. Room had all the basics, soap and lotion and shampoo and body wash and Lavazza coffee pods and hair dryer. Cute retro refrigerator/freezer (small size), and microwave. Heater was a little……

“Staff was accommodating and very friendly, the breakfast was the same every day but had a variety to choose from, hard boiled egg, cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, fresh fruit , toast with 3 different kinds of bread, coffee, tea, milk and juice. Hotel was older but clean, was a great location as we had to travel to McCloud every day. Will definitely stay here the next time in town.”
