Cozy & lovely decorated hostel

Very nice and helpful staff (lots of tipps regarding the area). The hostel (common area, double room, garden) is really cozy and there are a lot of amazing details everywhere. Loved it!

Dejlig Beliggenhed

Tilbragte to nætter i et værelse med eget badeværelse - men det havde jeg egentligt ikke behøvet, for værelserne er anlagt sådan at det ikke ville have været noget problem at dele et af de (store) badeværelser. Receptionen havde et køkken, spisepladser, reol med bøger og spil. Gratis te og frugt plus morgenbuffet og forskelligt andet mad for 4 euro. Personalet var MEGET hjælpsomt, og jeg fik via hotellet gratis entré til det meget anbefalelsesværdige bymuseum plus tips til at finde rundt i Weimar Det føles slet ikke som et kædehotel. Beliggenhedden er perfekt: ikke mere end ti minutter til nogen af hovedattrationerne (Goethe-museet, slottet, Anna-Amalia Bibliothek, parken, etc). Ligger lige ved siden af supermarked (REWE), apotek, bager - og en bratwurst bod :)

Labyrinth in Weimar

It was great to visit Weimar and follow in the footsteps of Goethe, Schiller, et al. The hostel made it easy for us to get around.

The wifi is poorly slow and sometimes it can't even get access on line so I need to go to the dining area to use my computer but that area was closed at 12.00. It was a bit inconvenient if sometimes you really need the internet to process some thing in urgent.

Nettes kleines Hostel direkt am Goetheplatz

Einfache, aber bequeme Betten. Freundlicher Service. Einfaches Frühstückbuffet für 4€ zubuchbar. Leider müssen Laken&Bettwäsche ausgeliehen und das Bett selbst bezogen werden - für Jugendherbergspreise wäre das ok, die Unterkunft nimmt aber Hotelpreise

quirky cute central clean, staff ok

i didn't appreciate the $2 additional fee for usage of a credit card payment, since this was not disclosed at the time of booking. other than that, the rooms were nice quirky cute and clean. kitchen fully stocked, location good. gripe about auxiliary staff (seemingly in charge of group meals) -they buzzed around like a bunch of disgruntled unhappy bees. they were not pleasant to be around, even when just sipping tea quietly in the common area, as it was hard to avoid their determined paths through the hostel and terrace on their mission of food preparation. other than them though, i think the hostel is a pleasant clean one, and centrally located, with borrowable maps and guide books that aid your stay in Weimar.

Sov två nätter på detta hostel som ligger centralt i Weimar. Enkel standard men också förmånligt pris. Bodde ensam i ett dubbelrum med eget bad/toalett. OK frukost och mycket hjälpsam personal.

Great location

It is a nice hostel in the middle of the city, still very quiet though. Ideal location. Stuff was very friendly. Room was okay for a hostel. Only the "breakfast buffet" was a little bit disappointing - only bread and cereal, no eggs or fruits.

Sehr unkompliziert von der Buchung bis hin zur Abreise. Sehr freundlich, aber auch sehr einfach gehaltene Zimmer, zur Übernachtung gut geeignet. Eingeschränkter Komfort. Frühstück günstig und gesellig.
