“This place is great, it has all of the comforts of home. We truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back. The camp was very clean and I'm a bit OCD, so this place really made our stay so nice. We had a fire, cooked out, had family visit, watched movies. We brought our pets, Tessa and Petals, not much we could ask for. I wish there were outside lights on both porches and the grill could use a grate that fits and a full size coffee maker. Other than that everything was perfect, the kitchen……

“This spot was fantastic, well accommodated, beautiful views, tons to do, and close to many great hikes and outdoor activities in Maine! Shopping in Bethel is close by for groceries and a few breweries as well! Would definitely come back!”

“Peter and Jane are terrific hosts of a beautiful spot on the lake. We did all the things. We hiked Mt. Blue to the top. We peddled the boat out onto the lake. We watched the sunrise and sunset on the screened in porch. We made fires and roasted marshmallows. We had a terrifically beautiful family vacation at this perfect little cottage on the lake.”

“I can’t say enough about this property .. It is beautiful! Jon is an exceptional host, the home is in a great location, very close to Sunday River which was the purpose of our trip. It was very clean, literally spotless and also beautifully decorated, quality bed and bedding, everything was just so nice! We were so comfortable and I would highly recommend this property.”

“We only had a very brief stay, alas, but made the most of the opportunity as best we could. A few updates are needed with the introductory welcome materials and equipment information that will be easy but useful to correct. Glad we had a chance to pause in western Maine, with a view of close mountains and the distant Presidential Range in NH. A couple of kitchen tweaks will be helpful for our cooking happy selves, though we enjoyed the spacious kitchen with adequate equipment, beautiful place……

“We booked a beautiful 3 bedroom cabin that had everything we needed. Our stay was very quiet. We were able to go on walks. We used the pool a few times. Very friendly and helpful staff! There’s a grocery store and gas station VERY close. ”

“Came to hike and see angel falls. We came unaware that it was the wet season. Marie and Abbigale ( the house cat ) were great. They made us feel comfortable and it was like we were home. We will be back if ever in the area again”

“If you are looking to enjoy some quality time with friends/family, this place is excellent! We stayed for a weekend bachelor/bachelorette party with 14 people. Beautiful views, near trails (check out the falls near by), plenty of things to do while there, even for those who don’t ski! We played pong, pool, karaoked, enjoyed the hot tub even spent some time near the fire. All in all a great place to book!”

“The house was cozy and spacious , my family enjoyed the amenities like the pool table and Jacuzzi! We spend a lot of time on the deck/porch it had space enough space for our family of 12 , the only thing is that I would have liked the deck lightening to be more stronger.”

“We stayed stayed there for three nights and skied at saddleback. Easy ride to the mountain, town and the grocery store. It was a cozy cabin with everything you needed. It had a great porch with a nice of view of the lake. Will be coming back.”

“We anticipated a rustic old cabin, but we did not anticipate health and safety issues or inaccurate amenities in the listing. There were no working smoke detectors, even with a wood burning stove in the cabin. There were no CO2 detectors and the furnace filter was neglected and dirty. An outlet exposed without a cover and there was some type of leak in the bathroom that caused the floor to be moist/wet. The listing stated they have WiFi, but the DSL was not operational. We would have been better……
