Amazing staff and service. Breakfast was served in minutes, delicious and beautifully presented. I also requested early dinner on both days and it was incredible, seafood pasta! Thanks!

Great hotel

Excellent hotel. Kind and very helpful staff. We stayed there for 6 nights. Checking at reception was very quick and we were really glad and impressed after a long journey. Road approaching to the hotel is narrow. Our room was big and had wonderful view of the sea and the pool. Our daughter and partner stayed at the hotel for few days too.They were very kind and offered some kind of breakfast long after breakfast has finished and took care of my dietary needs at meal times. Only issue for us was length of the hanging room in the ward robe. We had to hang the long dresses on the cupboard door.

It was a wonderful stay at the hotel. Right by the beach away from the busy stretch in Waligama, but still close enough to walk to the restaurants and surf shops. The staff was extremely friendly and help with anything I needed. Restaurant overlooking the pool and and the beach. Surf classes also offered right by the hotel. Rooms are very spacious and nice.

Sehr gutes Hotel, super Lage, super Zimmer mit Meerblick, toller Pool, alles sauber, sehr gutes Frühstück. Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Gerne wieder, auch wenn der Preis für Sri Lanka eher hoch ist. Dafür stimmt die Qualität.

Zimmer meerseite gross, sauber, schönes Bad Frühstück unterer Standard (Continental), nix besonderes,Toast,Marmelade,Früchte, Pool klein Strand naturbelassen, nicht aufgeräumt Meer nicht schön, zum Baden eher ungeeignet Lage:Drum herum nichts, für lange Strandspaziergänge gut, TukTuk nach Mirissa Fazit: Für 1-2 Tage ok, aber nichts besonderes, hier unserer Meinung nach höchstens "Sehr gut", nicht höher

Nice hotel on the beach

The hotel is very clean and has a nice pool. It is on the beachfront, the view from the beachfront rooms is awesome. It is a couple k east of the centre of weligama but there are plenty of buses and tuk tuk if you aren’t up for a beach walk. Behind the hotel is Sudda’s surf school. We had a lesson and it was great fun, they are friendly, knowledgeable and patient.

Great experience

This hotel has a nice location between Weligama and Mirissa (only a short Tuk Tuk ride to both locations. There is no noicy traffic and youve got the beach all by yourself at the hotels doorstep. The facilities are great with large and clean rooms and so is the pool area. Service is really excellent and so is the breakfast. However lunch/dinner is less inspired and a bit pricey. Great WiFi by Sri Lankean standards. A gem.

Fint, fräscht hotell med bra läge

Vi stannade 6 nätter och efter att ha rest runt på Sri Lanka första delen av vår semester, blev 22 Weligambay en perfekt avslutning. Lugnt och bra läge mittemellan Mirrissa och Weligama. Ingen störande trafik, underbar bred och lång strand. Härligt poolområde. Superbra service.

Great hotel, excellent service

Lovely hotel, it's right on the beach, a short til til ride away from mirissa beach which is very busy, this hotel is on a much quieter beach which was nice for relaxing. excellent service at the hotel, good room size and facilites. breakfast was also very nice, typical continental breakfast, no string hoppers and curry :(

Good hotel for Surfing

Polite employees, however management should fix a few topics listed below: 1. Toaster - get a decent toaster to your breakfast area. It's is annoying to ask for toasted bread separately from the staff 2. Move the breakfast closer to the pool area. Everyone want's to sit there and grabbing the food next to reception is frustrating 3. Buy a proper coffee machine. Guests can take themselves an espresso, latter or cappucino in the morning. 4. Offer high quality tea + boiling water for the guests to prep their own choice of tea. The black one which was served and the option available was always way too strong for European taste 5. Toilet paper, more than one roll is really necessary in a modern hotel. So please provide 2-3 rolls all the time in the room. We ran out of paper even when our stomaches were ok 6. Internet Access code. It should be printed and visible for the guests. It was super annoying to wait for the manager to arrive from the nearby town just to inform the wifi password for my laptop so i could work. Those are something to consider for the near future.

Disappointing

Disappointing having read the reviews. Food was expensive and not particularly nice. We went and got food locally every night which was much cheaper and much better quality. The place was nice enough but seemed to lack atmosphere and a 'personal touch'. I found it very strange that management would not give out the wifi code and instead came with me to my room, watched me unpack until I found my devices and then input the code himself. It was nice enough, clean and staff were friendly, just not what I was expecting from the reviews I'd read. Would definitely recommend going in to town for food as there are some amazing local restaurants.

Amazing Staff

What makes this hotel are the staff, every single staff member we encountered was friendly and accommodating. We booked a few things through the hotel, whale watching a safari etc and it really seemed like they went out of their way to ensure we had a great experience. The hotel is in a perfect location you will literally have the beach to yourself and if you want more action Mirissa is less than 2 minutes by tuk tuk. If you have read this far you should stop thinking about it and just book this hotel.

호텔은 3층짜리 건물로 바다 전경이 멋있는 호텔임

큰 도로에서 작은 골목길로 찾아들어가야 하기에 입구를 찾는게 조금 어려웠음 건물은 2017년에 지어진 새 호텔이었음 깨끗하고 모든 종업원은 친절하였음 모든 숙박 시설에 문제가 없었음 .그러나 주차 공간이 부족하였고 인터넷 예약자에게 배방 선택과 기타 부가 혜택이 제공되지 않았음 해물 모듬 요리는 꼭 먹어봐야 할 추천 메뉴임 호텔 앞 바로 비치와 연결되어 바다 가기가 너무 편하고 좋았고 호텔내 수영장도 잘 관리되고 있었음 호텔 투숙객을 위한 다양한 가격대의 메뉴를 운영한다면 더 많은 투숙객이 호텔 내 레스토랑을 이용할것이라고 생각됨

Nice hotel, not the best location

There is not much to do in the direct surroundings of the hotel and therefore you must always take a taxi or tuctuc.. food is excellent, although the waiting time is relatively long. We had a room without sea/pool view big we didn't expect to be overlooking the trashbins.. Staff is very eager to help, would be better if they would be a little more in the background. Everytime we came down three or four staffmembers would come up to ask about your day, if you wanted to dine, if you wanted any excursions and seemed to be dissappointed when you arranged anything yourself or when we went out for dinner. Hotel and rooms look great, like the pool. we missed cussions on the poolbeds.
