Lovely house, extremely well-equipped, and with the most genial hosts you could wish for.We had two weeks at Little Owl Barn in July/August 25, and found it to be really comfortable, with everything you could need (in fact the most amount of kitchen equipment of any house we've rented), in a lovely setting. Very conveniently close to Wellington and Taunton, whilst still completely in the countryside. The hosts are fantastic: really friendly and approachable. We would totally recommend this place for a relaxing holiday in comfort.

A lovely rural oasis, quiet and peaceful. The two large fields were heaven for our dog to run around in at her leisure. Philip was very helpful about the property and the milk, tea and coffee on first arrival were very welcome. it's well situated for visits to the coast and the country.

I am not going to go on about this beautifully sorted and quite lovely little place, as there are plenty of reviews that have already done just that. What I CAN add is that, rather than just 'doing what it takes', Philip & Sarah really have gone 'above & beyond'. There were all sorts of little touches that made our stay so much nicer, which so many other places do not do. Thank you!!!

Beautiful barn that lived up to expectations.

Really super property with great facilities and excellent for dogs. We stayed over Christmas and had everything we needed in the kitchen for a full Christmas lunch! The barn is very comfortable cosy and warm the Christmas tree was a great touch along with the doggy gift! Our hosts were fantastic and answered all our pre visit questions very quickly and the recommendations for eating out were very good. We’d love to return when the weather is nicer to explore more.

What a find!

Quiet spot overlooking hills, super clean upside down living with everything you need and open plan lay out. Heating and hot water very responsive. Had 2 dogs with us who enjoyed the 2 large paddocks secured by hedge and fences. The charming host was keen to help with anything and we chatted to him over the paddock gate.

Great week telaxing

Great week relaxing at Little Owl Barn. The weather was amazing, the boys and our dog Percy made the most of the fantastic garden space - it was relaxing, comfortable and had everything we needed. The most amazing view from the patio where we had the pleasure of seeing the moon rise each evening and on our last night a super moon. What’s not to love!

A very beautiful house in a quiet location. Little owl barn was super clean and nicely decorated. A lot of space in the house and a huge garden. Also ideal for dog owners. The landlords Sarah and Philip were very friendly and helpful. An accommodation that we can recommend without any restriction. Thank you for everything! Annette & Klaus with Jannes & Henrik

Calm and spacious

The barn was spacious and comfortable. The two bathrooms were a big plus. The kitchen was well equipped. The outside area was lovely and our dog - had she come - would have loved it. The place is very calm and relaxing. Philip was very helpful and responsive when we needed support. The pillows in the master bedroom were rather flat. Intermittently, pressure in the shower was very low and/or the water was cold.

Little Barn Owl! A Great Place to Stay

What a beautiful barn conversion. Philip was so welcoming and called to make sure we had settled in and had everything we needed. We really enjoyed our stay. Everything was top quality and very clean and tidy. There was plenty of space for the five of us both inside and out and the garden/paddock had beautiful views over the hills. Ideal for children to play or dogs to exercise. Location was excellent and so close to Taunton with many places to visit. Thank you. We would certainly have no hesitation in recommending this lovely find.
