「We enjoyed our stay at Rays Place overall. The inside looks to have been recently updated and it was nice and clean throughout. However, much of the kitchen pans and cooking ware were old and not usable. There was not extra toilet paper in the house, the heating which were a few wall units did not keep the house warm, and there were no trash bins to put the trash bags in. The vrbo site said there was soap provided but the clothes soap container was almost empty and there was not soap in the...

The beds were very comfortable, the great room was so beautiful and we hung out in there just talking for hours on end. 「We had a college friends reunion with 6 adults and 10 kids 6 and under. We felt so at home, plenty of kid friendly plates, cups, etc. in the kitchen, books, and baby gates at the top of both sets of stairs. Two living areas made it nice for kids to play and adult conversation. Quiet location and the animals on the property were super fun as well. Some special homestead touches were left for us as well. Didn’t hear the person staying downstairs the time a car was there. Would definitely stay here...

「My dad and I traveled to Lees Summit to visit family. We are from the area so it was nice to have a place where others could meet us and visit. The duplex was updated and comfortable. The stairs are steep but the baby gate at the top keeps anyone from an accidental tumble. Doug was great to communicate with and I recommend staying here!」
