“I rented the luxury penthouse and it was very nice. Felt like home. The area is very walkable with restaurants, grocery, and shops within a very short distance. I grabbed Starbucks everyday and sat on the balcony to enjoy the beautiful mountain views. Also, the staff was very friendly and helpful. I plan to return to this property again.”

“ We spent five nights in the petite apartment, which is beautiful, spacious and very well equipped. Lovely gardens, swimming pool and a braai. The maintenance and cleaning is to a very high standard, WiFi worked well. It’s well located in a quiet / safe area, pleasant walk to an abundance of great restaurants, cafes and wine bars. “Had a Marvellous time - The staff make you so welcome and everything is catered for excellently- from breakfast to assisting with dinner reservations, places to see, the owner even went to get a razor and shaving cream from the local shop as I had forgotten mine, Champagne for our anniversary - I can not recommend this place enough it’s a place of tranquility and splendour.”

We stayed in the 2 bedroom unit and were very impressed from the Smeg stove to the dishwasher, the aircon worked well and fans were much needed in the bedrooms. The kitchen was well-equipped and we had everything we needed for the weekend. The bathrooms were very clean and well set out. All the beautiful creams and soaps were very much appreciated. “The facilities at this property were very minimal for what is offered as a furnished holiday let. A salt and pepper set would have been nice. We had flat 2 which is not air conditioned but an air-conditioning unit outside our suite was noisy and disturbing.”

“We really enjoyed our stay at Jonquil Cottage. We felt at home straight away finding it very clean and comfortable for our weeks stay. The pretty leafy garden is ideal to sit out in warm weather, providing plenty of shade. The cottage is in an ideal position at a very close walking distance to the main street in Franschhoek.
